    Could I have this from 30 years of SSRIs, and 12 Ciprofloxacin. I cannot function. It destroys mtDNA. Muscle wasting. Broken voice box. Akathisia. Gut problems. White goo in mouth. Burning. About 40 symptoms.

    My daughter has a VUS in MT-ATP6. She also has 2 VUS's in CAD gene. She suffers from random, inconsistent and non-specific symptoms since birth, primarily as gastrointestinal manifestations. I can't understand why this is not being taken seriously by physicians.

      @@lovecraftjunkie2331 extremely unwell..I can't do basic functions with my tounge losing more weight heart palpitations and hypoxia and also coughing blood..I have been trying to visit my Dr for weeks to get imaging for my chest but simply can't move..bed ridden.. speaking three sentences will strain my body so hard I would need so much rest..at this point I don't even think I can get outside the house..no social services or family support.. oxygen generator still pending.. inpatient extensive rehabilitation still pending...I literary have absolutely no energy to even chew food or talk and noboycares.. I'd just simply die and ppl would find out from the foul smell of my corpse 🥹

    Scary that an exposure to Cipro can lead to an onset of Mitochondrial DNA depletion.
