One discrepancy here is that at 8:00 Phi says that now you only fight people below 200K prowess if you've never hit Tekken King. I just hit Bushin yesterday, but the night before, I was grinding and fought a Tekken Emperor Heihachi that also had a Tekken Emperor Jin, Tekken King Eddy, another character at Tekken King, and even a Raijin Lee. I believe his prowess was like 275K. I was sitting at around 198K
@@PhiDX completely fair ha I was definitely fighting Tekken Gods on secondaries before the patch, so it's still a good change. At Bushin, I should be able to beat the occasional Emperor anyway haha
This was actually changed with the latest patch. They just didn't write it directly, they called it playing more often with people of your/closer rank. Only way to do it without crazy long q time is to reduce the prowess reqs.
The Phi/Max intro was a banger, and it was cool to see just how effective your coaching was even with a player with decades of legacy FG experience (even if not specific legacy Tekken experience) like Max is.
Hey Phi, so I can definitely say without a shadow of a doubt the TK 200k prowess threshold is not a thing, highest I’ve hit with Lars is Bushin, I don’t have any other characters with ranked records, and I get paired with 230k prowess people plenty.
I'm hoping its a lot easier to obtain a high ranked in T8 due to low quality and veteran player turnout as opposed to a bad ranked system. But I seriously don't know who's excited about games that have easily obtainable online ranked goals, just feels like there's nothing earned. "Oh another randomer youtuber made Tekken Supreme, how coooooool"
I'm curious how max's game looks so much smoother than mine. His characters on screen animate much more smoothly than on my pc. Like, it feels like my characters have screen tears or frame skipping on their animations. And no its not my specs.

There is no incentive to ranked in tekken because there are no rewards for reaching any rank in the game. You're better off just playing quick match
