Thank you. The Bible says the very hairs on our head are numbered. He also said a woman’s hair is her glory. So true. Even in our African community people find it difficult to accept someone with the natural virgin hair ....they always want to see weaves and wigs instead
Absolutely. When you research afro hair, it can be moulded into architectural structures, textures, volumes, curls, coils, crowns, shapes etc. The colonizers know that our hair is linked to our heritage, the ancient Egyptians depicted it on their walls. The hatred of the colonisers in fnding out we are the original people that were so sophisticated that even the Greeks were learning from, hurt them so deeply that they want to destroy everything about us.
Thank you for this message. Like you, I am concerned about our black minds that see so much negativity in our beings. I had relaxed hair 6 yrs of my 73 trips around the sun. I chose that experience as an adult and I chose to love myself and celebrate my God-given unique expression of beauty. Thank you God for wisdom and patience. I have dreadlocks approaching my knees and am so overjoyed to find you, my hair sister. I find your videos helpful and life-changing even as a dreadhead. Yes, your message is Truth. Keep up your good works. Not everyone will hear you, but those who do will join you. Ase.
Before I went natural I was always concerned about what others would say about my hair. Since going natural it’s true I’m so confident about myself that what others think about me don’t matter. I’m doing this for me and my health and the health of my hair. It has been the best decision.
This is so powerful!! Thank you Lindsay 😊 When I went natural almost 12 years ago, I was ready. I was tired of the chemicals and the pain and the disappointment I felt when relaxing my hair. Even through all the hard times, I knew deep in my heart I wasn’t ever turning back to chemicals.
Preach sis. I remember being asked why I stopped doing my hair when I first went natural. I rocked it anyway and the self discovery has been exponential. You said this so well. Thank you
@@chibuzonnabuihe8815 To be honest, I have had personal experience with men having positive responses to my natural hair. One man told me that he didn't see it that much.😳 More of them want to see women wear their natural hair and hairstyles than is believed.
Amen, Sister!! I'm in total agreement!! I'm the one with mechanical alopecia due to pressing combs, perms, braids, and one and only one weave. My daughter didn't like her hair because a relative made her dislike her beautiful hair she would wear only wigs but now she is gradually wearing it natural.
Thank you for letting us know that we have to love and embrace our natural hair. Thank you for letting us know we have to love and fully embrace it and fight for it, and our culture and others will learn to accept us in our natural state. I have been natural since 2016 and learned to love myself with my fro. I did the same as you. I cut off the perm hair to your short length, did Cantu knots, wear afro, and sometimes braids. I followed your techniques and many others from TH-cam, and my hair is now at shoulder length.
Having locs for 4 years now has really taught me to love my natural hair my hair is the longest it has ever been my hair is almost bra strap length I wouldn’t dare go back to extensions it feels good to know I don’t need anymore

You are awesome, Lindsay. I so needed this message many years ago. You are describing in detail, what I did regarding my hair. I abused extensions for many years. When I slowed down with the extensions, I started with the wigs. Oh my! Simply from not accepting what God gave me, I went in so many unhealthy directions. By the time I finally realized that it was all a lie, the damage was done. I stopped the madness some years ago. However, now at 62 years old, though my natural hair is seemingly healthy, the hair in the back of my head doesn't seem to grow well. I love my hair, but I want more of it. Thank you, my friend for what you do.God bless you.
Thank you for being here...and more so for sharing your story. Am glad you retraced your steps...glad you returned to embrace your beautiful hair... it's doing better than before now, because you love it. Keep loving it...it can only get better. Blessings 🙏🏾
Sister Lyndsay, i appreciate the video and the topic itself. I strongly agree with you that our there are more men who appreciate women in natural hair than the opposite, even though they may not always express themselves openly. Since i started keeping my natural and styling it without extension for over 3years, even men stop me on the way just to tell me "Your hair is naturally Beautiful", Another one just exclaimed himself this way: "What an angelic beauty".
Yes 😂it’s long overdue. I have to go natural right after I had my baby girl. I want her to see mommy in her and feel beautiful with her beautiful hair. So far she does not like artificial hair and she is not 10. Very good investment ever!!!!
I love my natural hair too 🤍🥰 I started growing it out during the pandemic. I had ups and downs but it has definitely been a beautiful journey of self discovery.

Ten to eleven years ago,I made a bold decision to go natural and I have never looked back in regret. I detest the thought of the chemicals I used to destroy my scalp and hair. I'm loving my natural healthy hair journey and I'm about to completely stop heat application through blows. Almost a year plus have not applied heat to it.❤
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this beautiful video. It felt like a love letter to black women and our hair. I genuinely felt the love. I have always been natural and in my teens I would always wear buns and braided hairstyles and then long after I graduated from highschool and after college I started wearing weaves to give my hair a break from styling and manipulating it everyday. Then I really didn't know about protective styling. Once I started wearing weaves and then the wigs I really felt disconnected from my natural hair. I started enjoying the connvenience a little too much and then it became a burden to take care of my hair. Having my daughter who is now 3 made me realize the importance of identity and taking care of what God gave us. It was through my daughters joy and delight of her own natural hair and her excitement of when she would see her hair styled so many different ways, allowed me to reignite the beauty of my own natural hair. Acceptance starts at home, at the root of our core. Once we start there, acceptance from elsewhere isn't as significant. God bless you I love you for all that you do for black women!❤
I sincerely appreciate you sharing this in all honesty...and am glad that you are now able to reignite the beauty of your hair. Keep doing the good work...you are raising a Queen...she must always see herself that way. Thank you Lovely...I Love you too😊..From one black Queen to another❤️
Such a powerful hair gospel; everything we need to know to grow and nurture of God-given crowns. Thank you sis ❤ Your hair is absolutely beautiful too 🥰
I think you are beautiful just the way you are and your hair is gorgeous! I love how you broke all this down and how encouraging you are!! You’re right about the wigs the weaves and the dyes. I’ve never understood how any one would feel good about themselves wearing something that is foreign to them. It’s insecurity but it also is something that turns into coveting and envying what someone else has! Like for me I’m a bearded man and I have been on my beard journey for a while and in the bearded community we have this thing we call “beard envy” and it happens when you see another guy in public and maybe his beard is bigger or you see a beard model on the internet and in that moment you want what they have and instead we have to appreciate what we have and understand it’s our genetics!! Anyway I could go on and on and on but YES what is your WHY? Your WHY must be strong and must be motivated from a very disciplined and concrete place!
Oh thank you so much David...for taking your time to watch/listen and even share your thoughts..I appreciate you 😊. Didn't know beard envy exists in the beard community...wow. So it's not just us women...I pray we get understanding and start to appreciate "Ourselves" more. Blessings to you and yours David🙏🏾
This is so inspiring and you're so right, I couldn't agree any more less. I personally love everything natural, from natural hair to not wearing makeup or having it on looking as natural as possible.I don't like wigs but I love braids out however limited. I love love love being black, love my hair, my melanin natural complexion... We're BEAUTIFUL. Everyone are too though, I believe diversity is what makes the world beautiful. I'm hoping I could grow my hair to your length though so I'm watching you like a faithful student 😂😂😂. Recently incorporated lemon grass oil because I watched a video where you talked about the tea.... Love the smell and loved the outcome too. Thank you so much. By the way this hair style on you is Beautiful ❤❤❤
First your hair is beautiful:::: my hair is natural and I love it your so right it takes loving your hair/// to accept it. I thank you so much for your advice :::❤
I am suffering from traction alopecia, its really not funny sometimes I just wonder I it will grow back. I did a big chop and I am caring for it now than ever, I believe and pray it grows. Thank you so much for this
We miss you. I wish you would post a new video every day,but i know you have a beautiful family to take care of. Oh one request can you make a video that will help women over 40 with lenght retention. Is it just me but im 45 with thick hair similar to yours, its about 4 inches. However its a challenge to gain lenght now that im older.
Oh dear...yes you understand how busy life can be 😊. Ok but it's the same approach basically...focus on your diet, drink herbal teas...use them on your hair, be consistent with your routine, moisturize as and when needed...choose your protective style wisely...stay hydrated..try different relaxation techniques to calm your nerves as a way to deal with stress and anxiety.... Your Hair will retain length as time goes on ..am sure
I became more committed to caring for my hair since I met your channel. I am so amazed at how the packed up gray hairs I grew over time out of stress and so on is vanishing with speed. Infact, my older son pin pointed that. I took the tea therapy seriously. A particular night when I combined fenugreek and cloves, it was so bitter and had strong taste, as I was striving to take it, my daughter echoed "hair growth"😂😂 I finished my tea though, and the detox effect was amazing.
Sure. The truth is, we have same spirit. Back then in school, even though I was wearing a processed hair, I hardly braid, to a point friends started gossiping that I do not have money to care for my hair despite having a fiancee. I got married and woke up one morning when I was pregnant for my third and last child for now😊, I decided to stop using relaxer on my hair having noticed the damaged it has caused my hair over time. This was happening 10yrs ago. I suffered rejection in salons., A particular friend almost banned me from coming to her house saying I would introduce hair lice. At a time when I needed to style for a travel, the hair stylist insisted on blowing it out before she could help me style. I can go on and on. I am just thanking God for discovering your channel and having met a personality like you. You have really given me a boost to carry on. God bless you.
You are right Lindsay, there are certainly more men out there who prefers women with their God given natural hair. I was rocking mine last week, in a particular market in my location, lo and behold, a man was complimenting in high tone and said, "if I were present where you styled your hair I would have paid for it. We indeed need to change this narrative. Our hair is lovely.
How silly to “think” that you can’t grow your hair long and healthy! My sisters and I when young had hair down out backs. My mother washed every to weeks, used hair grease and put it in 2 braids. That was it. Once the wigs, weaves, chemicals, tape ins, glue and product with lots of chemicals came on the scene..THAT’S WHEN we started RUINING our beautiful hair. Love yourself and that includes from your hair(crown) to the soles of your feet!
All i can say is thanks to you. Your hair is beautiful. Im on the natural hair journey as well. I love my hair and always loved caring for it myself. I want have it any other way. I started my own locs had them 5 years, now im loose natural 3yrs. Its definitely a challenge, but i look forward to taking care of my unique beautiful god given hair. I wouldn't have it any other way, besides it's so free being me, in my real natural state. Loving me naturally. God bless you lovely!!!
Thank you beautiful one, i am in Nairobi-Kenya, where are your products sold in this city, i would like to start the journey with you, of healthy beautiful natural hair.Godbless, i am touched with the motivational natural hair talk. Continue with the campaign, slowly by slowly, it will work for us and we will embrace our Natural hair and love them.

I am not a black woman but I can assure you that this societal brainwashing of insecurity and non-acceptance of of natural hair applies to every woman. We must all embrace our natural hair and care for it in a holistic approach like nature intended. Love and blessings from Malta, the Mediterranean ❤
My hair and I thank you! I don’t have tight 4c hair, I have loose curls (3b/3c/4a?) and for 2 years have been struggling watching “traditional” natural loose curly content. My hair is very soft, light, fluffy, cottony and prone to frizz and flyaways. I like wash & goes, my hair hates them! I now understand that’s her structure. I’ve put your system in place, started wearing twists, and my hair is super healthy and has grown 1” per month for two straight months. Thank you for this easy, simple, no nonsense solution for my hair. ❤❤🫶🏽 You are making a difference. BTW, I’m 64 years old, growing 1” per month? YASSS! 🥰
Oh God...thanks so much. I thought l didn't have time for my hair but you have made it so clear that l actually have the time. This year l will give it a try. Extensions always break my hairline so bad. Thank you so much once again
What a powerful video! You are so on point! I've been on the journey of self love and my life has truly transformed! My protective style is head wraps. Being that I'm still in the shorter stage after a big chop they are very convenient for me. My hair gets to breathe and I have access to my hair and scalp to moisturize and do weekly washings. You are amazing and keep sharing your blessings with others! I appreciate you Queen!
Thank you, beautiful sista, for sharing n inspiring our queens on the essential health n nurturing stress -free methods to care for our crowns. Stay encouraging n intentionally beautiful. Shalom!
After watching your truly inspiring video I moisturized , conditioned, oiled and twisted my hair. I had covid the second time a couple months ago and suffering from hair loss. I used your tea method. I'm in the states and would love to try your product line though my funds are very limited. I know you're right - we need to embrace our hair and be ourselves and not a clone of someone else. Be blessed my dear.
Thank you, sis, our hairs are beautiful. I had a big chop in 2018, and I don't regret at all. I must say it is not an easy journey, but its worth it. More especially if you are a busy mom😢 it's not easy but can't complain. Thanks sweetheart
Glad for you and your hair...and more so for the fact that you are a busy Mom....but you still getting things done...You are doing great. Well done Sis
The truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Especially the last part about fighting back against “stigma” personally I think it is just very defeatist to say my hair isn’t acceptable so I won’t wear it. My dear then go where you are accepted. Which in my experience is everywhere. Since going natural I have never gotten a bad comment about my hair. I think it is all internalize and we need to rid ourselves of it. Natural hair is not difficult all it needs is basic hair care. Plus once you lear how to detangle properly you are good to go. This was long I am just passionate about Afro textured hair.
Thank you so much beautiful I love your hair and you have a beautiful spirit. Keep shining. Keep educating us. I love my hair. I love me more hair more hair I decree.💜🙏🏽🎀
Lindsay I agree with everything you said. However some people just can't show their hair due to being embarrassed. My friend has bald spots all over, and no hairline bcuz of tight braids. She will never go outside without a wig. There's nothing she can do other than treat it as much as she can until hopefully it will grow back. Do you have any suggestions?

So it's not just us women...I pray we get understanding and start to appreciate "Ourselves" more. Blessings to you and yours David🙏🏾
Charleh if you run for President I will vote for you. 😅😅😅
😂😂😂Thank you so much for your support..
I appreciate you
This is so inspiring and you're so right, I couldn't agree any more less.
The "faithful student" part got me 😂. Thanks for sharing...I really appreciate you 😊
First your hair is beautiful:::: my hair is natural and I love it your so right it takes loving your hair/// to accept it. I thank you so much for your advice :::❤
I am suffering from traction alopecia, its really not funny sometimes I just wonder I it will grow back. I did a big chop and I am caring for it now than ever, I believe and pray it grows. Thank you so much for this
Good to know you are caring for it. I believe too that it'll grow. Thank you for watching 🤗
Your hair is really beautiful ❤
Thank you so much 😀
Powerful...yes...thank you
Thanks for listening
Im just seeing this. Perfect 🙏🏾im so glad to be on this journey with you. @@lindsaychrisharmony
Ma your beautiful never fade❤❤❤
Ase🙏🏾
I became more committed to caring for my hair since I met your channel. I am so amazed at how the packed up gray hairs I grew over time out of stress and so on is vanishing with speed. Infact, my older son pin pointed that.
I took the tea therapy seriously.
A particular night when I combined fenugreek and cloves, it was so bitter and had strong taste, as I was striving to take it, my daughter echoed "hair growth"😂😂 I finished my tea though, and the detox effect was amazing.
Yessss! Hair Growth 😂😂😂😂..You are doing well Ma'am..your hair will thank you.
@@chibuzonnabuihe8815 Theae are some of the things we go through...but we'll always prevail..Thank you so much for sharing ❤️
I have enjoyed this video
A divine woman right here❤❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️❤️
U n your family hair is so thick n pretty. Thank u for the pictures n posting these videos they r so helpful.
Glad you like them!
I need to learn my hair and stay consistant thank you for your words of wisdom and encouragement. 😊
You are very welcome 😊
How silly to “think” that you can’t grow your hair long and healthy! My sisters and I when young had hair down out backs. My mother washed every to weeks, used hair grease and put it in 2 braids. That was it. Once the wigs, weaves, chemicals, tape ins, glue and product with lots of chemicals came on the scene..THAT’S WHEN we started RUINING our beautiful hair. Love yourself and that includes from your hair(crown) to the soles of your feet!
Exactly! Thank you for sharing
@@lindsaychrisharmony 👍🏽❤️
I needed to hear this, I have let my natural hair down for some weeks now.
You've got this 🤗

I wouldn't have it any other way, besides it's so free being me, in my real natural state. Loving me naturally. God bless you lovely!!!

Love that!
Well said. Really well said. You and your hair look beautiful. Inspired again. Bless you.
Thank you! You too!
I am not a black woman but I can assure you that this societal brainwashing of insecurity and non-acceptance of of natural hair applies to every woman. We must all embrace our natural hair and care for it in a holistic approach like nature intended.
Love and blessings from Malta, the Mediterranean ❤
Love and Blessings to you too🙏🏾. Thank you for sharing ❤️

Truly enjoyed this video
Thank you😊
Oooh lordd this hairstyle auits you sooooo much! Both when its shrinked short or elongated like this. 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Thank you❤️
My hair and I thank you! YASSS! 🥰
Yasssss... You've got this 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽..keep it up..am glad you are learning here.
Ooooh my God I am so interested
Oh God...thanks so much.
I thought l didn't have time for my hair but you have made it so clear that l actually have the time. This year l will give it a try. Extensions always break my hairline so bad.
Thank you so much once again
You’re welcome 😊
What a powerful video! You are so on point! I've been on the journey of self love and my life has truly transformed! My protective style is head wraps. Being that I'm still in the shorter stage after a big chop they are very convenient for me. My hair gets to breathe and I have access to my hair and scalp to moisturize and do weekly washings. You are amazing and keep sharing your blessings with others! I appreciate you Queen!
Wonderful! Thank you for your continuous support 😊
Thank you this makes me love my hair so much!!!! I’m starting today 🙏🏼☺️🫶🏼
You got this!
Wow. Just GORGEOUS😍 😍. You're right. We have to get to not being ashamed to wear our natural hair.

methods to care for our crowns. Stay encouraging n intentionally beautiful. Shalom!
Thank you so much for being here Sis...I appreciate you 🙏🏾
After watching your truly inspiring video I moisturized , conditioned, oiled and twisted my hair. I had covid the second time a couple months ago and suffering from hair loss. I used your tea method. I'm in the states and would love to try your product line though my funds are very limited. I know you're right - we need to embrace our hair and be ourselves and not a clone of someone else. Be blessed my dear.
Your hair will bounce back...I believe so. Your healing is perfected 🙏🏾... You've got this 🤗
Thank you for this
Thanks for being here 😊
I always thank God I found your channel, God richly bless you for this generation, I love how genuine you are and your motivations
Thanks for your support always...I appreciate you 😊
Your haaaaair! So beautiful!
Thank you!
I believe ny parents would not allow us to wear weaves or wigs so today I do not have an appropriation for any form if the faux locs.
Okay before i complete the video i will like acknowledge the video quality and background. May God protect us and our hair from negativity
Thank you for your support always. Amin🙏🏾

G💛RGEOUS!
Thank you!
I love your videos.
Can you please make a hair journey video.
Thank you! My Hair Journey? I have done that... I've told "My Story"...I think it's the 4th video I posted on this channel.

Thank you so much!!
Well spoken my sister. We re in this together ❤❤
🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Way to go Lindsay. Thank you.🎉
Yessss 🙌🏽🙌🏽
The truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Especially the last part about fighting back against “stigma” personally I think it is just very defeatist to say my hair isn’t acceptable so I won’t wear it. My dear then go where you are accepted. Which in my experience is everywhere. Since going natural I have never gotten a bad comment about my hair. I think it is all internalize and we need to rid ourselves of it. Natural hair is not difficult all it needs is basic hair care. Plus once you lear how to detangle properly you are good to go. This was long I am just passionate about Afro textured hair.
Thank you so much for sharing...I appreciate you 😊
Thank you so much beautiful I love your hair and you have a beautiful spirit. Keep shining. Keep educating us. I love my hair. I love me more hair more hair I decree.💜🙏🏽🎀
Thank you so much 🤗
Lindsay I agree with everything you said. However some people just can't show their hair due to being embarrassed. My friend has bald spots all over, and no hairline bcuz of tight braids. She will never go outside without a wig. There's nothing she can do other than treat it as much as she can until hopefully it will grow back. Do you have any suggestions?
You're gorgeous 😍
Thank you!!
Speak, Truth!! 💯
Ayeee 🙌🏽🙌🏽
