I’ve had my kit for 6 weeks now and I finally got into thEQing and adjust the sensitivity settings and really impressed me all over again ALSO TURNED UP THE RIDE BELL BIG TIME....MY SECOND edrum kit and I have 35 years playing experience and I played all over USA back in the 90s during the country line dance craze...the kit is very sturdy and I would definitely recommend this kit...very fast very impressive...Jim ...Hammond Louisiana...🥁🥁👏👏👍👍✌️
Great video, but I noticed he's playing with that felt beater. It will absolutely tear away at and destroy the kick drum. From Alesis, to Roland, all electronic drum makers say to use plastic or wood beaters. If you're watching this don't follow suite because you'll ruin your kick.
nomoreluke wood is fine on those mesh heads. But either way for the sticks. I use wood tips. I’ve seen folks use nylon tips. The kick drums are made of a different material hence why those felt beaters are no good for them.
@@greatwhite61967 thanks man - I've had advice from loads of different people now but spoke to Roland and they said the only problems occur when you use beaten-up wooden sticks on an electronic kit. Having said that though, I'll probably get some nylon tipped sticks... Haha.
Llevo ya un tiempo usando esta batería, y por su costo esperaba tener unos sonidos mejorados, antes venia usando la td11kv y esa bateria tenia unos excelentes sonidos, lamentablemente está batería tiene muchas cosas, pero muchos de sus sonidos no dan satisfacción, dejan esa sensación de estar tocando una bateria electrónica mas. Un consejo prueben antes de adquirirla si los satisface hagan la inversión sino quedan satisfechos busquen otras opciones😮
I really appreciate these review videos for the td 17 kvx but not one of these guys ever use a double pedal on them, if anyone knows of a review featuring some double pedal work on these please let me know.

I just got mine a couple days ago and have been messing around with it. What did you find worked for you regarding the EQ and sensitivity settings?
What is weird the weird jumps in the audio on this thing? Editing on this is terrible, makes it a review I really do not want to listen to.

I own the td27kv it uses the same kick, I shred double bass on it.

This kit comes with 3 8" toms. Your set has bigger top two toms. What's up with that? Are they the 10" pads? That's not what is sold.
