What are you saying man ?!?!
I have a Roland module and almost decided to replace it with the L80/Remo solution.
I've even been looking into used drum kits.
And your previous videos added a lot of stock to that inner fire (wanting acustic drums).
But I was finding very strange that there are no videos of people playing grooves or doing covers with those low volume kits.
Guess I'll stay on the edrum side for some more time then.

Go Eagles! Great review. My kit came with the PD-100 (x2), PD-85 (x2) mesh-head pads, and VH-11 hi-hat. (TD17KVX). You would definitely like these upgrades.

I went with the silent stoke l80's combination myself and did hit the same wall. This is super useful since I'm also looking to invest into one of these rolands. Thanks for your perspective

I think that you can adjust the hi-hat sensitivity, so that you have to lift your foot a little bit more to trigger it (page 4 of the owner's manual)

@@JerrysTalks I almost buy this one roland td-07dmk no pedal . I’m really debating on getting the TD17 KVS I prefer the module on it over the TD07

I would have to disagree with that it sounds like a acoustic kit if you closed your eyes,,,lol still sounds electronic to me... nothing beats the sound of a good acoustic kit really that's why i sold it and got a ludwig mod kit...but saying that i had the old td 17kv it did allow me to practise along with songs with a click etc..practise fills etc over and over without annoying the family.....all in all good for practice etc.

If you have to use an amplifier, does this not upset the neighbours?

I usually keep it relatively quiet, but have since bought headphones for it
