This is what I like about jazz drummer! It’s still a “chop” in some way, but everything was so melodic and musical even at a faster tempo. Don’t get me wrong, all these chops drummer are fantastic, to be a drummer with high dexterity on the kit is far from what I am capable of (although I’m always striving) but at one point, it sounded like it’s just sticking for the sake of sticking. Sort of like using vocabularies, with the sole intention of stringing words into sentences…rather than actually saying something. Anyway, excellent video Joao and Drums Bonedo 🙏🏼, and thanks a lot for the sharing.
