Have to say I'm really surprised here. Nice fat sound, very well produced. Very melodic and yet fairly agressive. Saw them live a few years ago at Fortarock. Hopefully we can enjoy live gigs by the end of the year. Damn
Cool to see these guys still making music. Like you, Ruben, I was aware of this band by name but unfamiliar with their material in the 80s, am not sure I even heard one of their tracks until your channel. My thrash focus in the 80s was on Metallica, Megadeth, Suicidal Tendencies, and to a lesser extent Testament (80s or early 90s). Since i was also into much more than just thrash -- classic rock, prog rock, prog metal, new wave, etc -- I only had so much bandwidth for thrash bands, and these guys escaped my radar. It's wild to still be discovering "old" bands now, but so be it, better late than never.
Not a cover of Bad Company's "Burnin' Sky:" th-cam.com/video/L40QtUe2WG8/w-d-xo.html I prefer "I'm Burning For You" by Blue Oyster Cult. th-cam.com/video/ipqqEFoJPL4/w-d-xo.html
I'm familiar with both of those tunes since prior to your comment but I'm willing to bet that Ruben might not have heard either of them. If you're new around here, welcome :-)
@@paulsiebeneicher4536 That's what I figured. He also needs to explore early Rush more; so far only two tracks prior to Moving Pictures, the band's eighth studio release. If he's interested in the roots of metal, bands like Black Sabbath, Budgie and Uriah Heep should be on his list.
@@chrisbowling4060 one of those early Rush requests, for the song "Anthem," came from me :-) I'm intending to be on this channel as a Patron for a lot longer so more requests will come.
Thank you for the kind words and review Ruben!

thank you brother
A long time ago, I saw this band live. Mike jumped off the stage and grabbed me. Bought me a beer and hung power with me.
