... and it was one of the better renditions done here too. Funny thing is, almost everyone would proclaim Taylor Hawkins a significantly greater drummer (and in technical skills, for sure)... but I think what Duff played fit the song better than what Taylor did on his. Talyor's group's version seemed too loose and off to me, for professionals.

I dug it, but I thought it was too safe. I don’t really see the point of covers that closely resemble the original. The whole point in my opinion is to honor the original, while also adding your own uniqueness to it. Aside from Fieldy’s bass which is just expected at this point, I didn’t really hear nearly as much as I wanted of Korn’s signature sound. Jon sounded nice, but he always does.

AlC it's been a long road. Pt 1 with Layne brings back a ton of memories.
AIC pt 2 of the story - Enter William - is a talented version of the group. Really hard to say this but i think ranier fog could be your best work yet?? That's a tough one.
AIC are worthy of an award there been a A list rock band time and time again for many years. Jerry is one of my favorite musicians I enjoy almost all his writing and support him as an artist. Seans drumming is one of a kind, mike and will fit and complete the circle.
All the performances were fun to watch. I cried when i heard aics version of black gives way to blue the first time, just an amazing piece of music. Lilly Silver Cornell gave such a beautiful performance it touched my soul in an unexpected way. It reinstilled my hope in humanity.
Thank u Alice in Chains and all supporting artists present in this video.

Same here, Ann. I know Jerry gets most of the credit for Alice's sound and a lot if the lyrics. It's true, he was a huge reason the band made it. However, Layne made me feel the music. Like actually feel it in my soul. I tried to give William Duval and the group a chance, but the same exact songs don't grab me and pull me in like they did with Layne. My all time favorite performance is Layne singing Love Hate Love live at the Moore. That performance haunts me and always will. I'm so thankful I was born in the 70s because I got to grow from a kid to an adult in the 90s with the help of Layne, Chris Cornell, and many others greats.

I remember there was an entire section for Nirvana and another huge one for Jimi Hendrix, and a ton of small booths that you could plug your headset into and learn about the history of the guitar or mic that was in that particular booth. Cool place. Congrats to AIC.
