No place for disgrace next please? It's my favorite song of theirs
1st album Doomsday for the Deceiver "Doomsday for the Deceiver" and "Metalshock" and "Desecrator". No Place For Disgrace - there is the 1988 version and a 2014 re-recorded version. I'd go with the original for your first listen "Dreams of Death" "No Place for Disgrace" I Live You Die" " Misguided Fortune" "Escape From Within"

@@TheAdventuresofTNT they're one of the best. Erik AK's voice is one of the more unique in the genre, in my opinion. Better off Dead is a song that really showcases his vocals. I'm glad to see you're jumping into the more underground, lesser known bands. Iron Maiden and Dream Theater are my favorites, but EVERYONE reacts to them (as well as Metallica, Ozzy, Pantera...etc). Not a problem with that, really, I just love seeing you throw in these less popular bands.
Now...you gotta do some Pirate Metal. Running Wild's Riding the Storm is a good one to start with.

Back in the day, this band and 'Hansel und Gretel' were my favorites, they always had a really infectious groove along with the heaviness. Very underrated bands.
Cuatro is solid- not one bad track is on it. Hypodermic was an interesting choice as an introduction to that album.

I've known of F&J since Newsted left them for Metallica, but never really checked them out. After keep breathing I definitely will tho. Didn't like the 2nd one as much but will still go deeper.
Btw, you should check out some of Newsted's solo work. He put out an album called heavy metal music several years ago that really rocked. He sings & slaps the bass and mike mushok from stained plays lead axe. Has a heavy, almost Sabbath sound to it, but more modern. My favorite song is Long Time Dead.

Flotsam was a thrash metal which was the stepping stones to death metal but flotsam possibly did it first before soad

Prisoner of Time Is great from End of Chaos I suggested Control.
I like Verge of Tragedy as well from 2016 I got most of the "Eddie style" hidden lyrics on that tune but I can seem to get them all. Do you know what that hidden voice says?!?!

When it comes to MY GOD album. I do like Keep Breathing simply surprised at the suggestion.
And Likewise surprised by Midnight Snack on Cuatro though it was in their setlist quite a bit.

The radio releases were Swatting At flies and Wading Through the Darkness. Every song is Great!
My God hit Flotsam fans a bit odd I think. But it is a great Album.
I think Fans would like track 1 the best, Dig Me Up to Bury Me.
My Favorite is Weather To Do which has links to When the Storm Comes Down, lyrically.
And Nothing To Say Is just a Jam, Its Great. Like listening to High from the High album.
Nothing To Say was the one they jammed most in concert, basically the Anchor to the album.
Frustrate Is great, sounds like it could have been on The Cold.
Keep Breathing is great. Still surprised though.

Obviously No Place for Disgrace is gonna be most recognized and is spectacular, the Dreams of Death album is a concept album,but I would like you to hear how they sound now and how Eric AKs voice is now. Some real bangers are Iron Maiden, Seventh Seal off their self title cd or Demolition Man off their newest End of Chaos🤘

Flotsam & Jetsam is the underrated Band in Heavy Metal History EVER!!
"UGLY NOISE" was a Masterpiece; better than Dreams of Death!
One of my all time favorites on this album Weather To Do But they really only released Nothing to say which is the song after. A lot of people play down this album. Frustrate is great. And it is the only album where they got the essence of the literal sound of Flotsam and Jetsam through the entire band in a few breaks. One is in this song. The Break down in Camera Eye sound like the ocean churning and hitting the beach. And in Weather To do just before the Solo break. I like Ugly Noise but I don't know many who do. I'd say my favorite on the album is Carry On. I do enjoy Dreams of Death And in mixes I usually put Nascentes Morimar after Better off dead and before Weather to do. That has a real nice flow. Peace!
