I had a Hurst supershifter in my 69 Camaro. I bought it off my friend who wrecked his 69 Chevelle SS It made it easy to grab 3rd gear It broke but I took it to Hurst in Warminster pa (not far from me) and they fixed it while I waited That one you bought looks awesome .
Great video! I installed a MGW flat stick on my 15 Mustang. You're going to love it. Very mechanical feel. It amplifies the stick shift connection to your car sensation. I loved watching you work with no gloves (kitten mittens). I'll subscribe and follow your content even though you're bow tie clan and I'm blue oval. 😆
the only real complaint i have about my 2012 black SS is the shifter. specifically shifting into 3rd. ive had it from new( 30k miles on her now) i am definitely upgrading the shifter. thank you for this video. all the details are important to me. on a side note...the most dramatic upgrade i made to the car was getting salvaged zl1 rims ( same as the 2013 1le rims) ,having them powder coated and fitting them with Goodyear supercar 3 in the rear, and supercar 2 on the front. the cornering immediately became the thrill.in my opinion, crazy lateral force is more amusing tham straight line acceleration. i haven't been able to find her limits yet. it is bizzare to me how fast i can enter/ exit a highway ramp. i definitely need to shift more effectively though!!!
You're gunna hate that billet shifter knob. At least I did. It'll be freezing cold in the winter, and it'll burn your hand in the summer. Best of luck.
For those curious, removing the Gen 6 Camaro shift knob is very different. You need to pull the shift boot up from the trim clips, then unscrew the knob to be able to replace the knob or boot. Idk about going with a short throw (but our throw is pretty short already)
I wish it was as easy to change the transmission mounts on a FWD car as it is on one that's RWD. My car is in need of it and I just don't want to do it because it's one of those jobs that's never as easy as it should be.
That’s not a bad idea as well. I have some plans for teal on the interior but I didn’t want to add TOO much teal to the car. Thanks for the suggestion!
I have a 2002 SS camaro M6 and has a 93 tune, long tube headers and a U/D pulley but other than that it's all stock. I was wondering if you know any shop in Phoenix that knows their ins and outs on a ls1. I just want H/C/I and still be dailyble considering its my only means of transportation. I'm stationed in Yuma so I don't mind the drive.
"I'm very bad at pulling things firmly" 🤣🤣🤣 I'm biting my tongue. 😇 Side note: I did this on my old 94 Z28 and it's amazing how much easier that was with the T-56. 4 bolts on top was all it took.
Let me just say this: in the times we're living with deranged feminists and all the insanity....how much would this kind of work cost if someone like her was the technician ?

Your videos are so well explained. I had know idea that so much was involved in adding a short shift.
Car is really coming along. So much has changed it will feel like a different car when you drive it at first. Happy for you. Keep ‘em coming

The Camaro isn’t my daily and I love the way it feels. She’s garage kept!

I was told that MGW doesn't make a shifter for 6th gen Camaro
Excellent video ! A short throw is on my list for my '21
Kayla you have done and leant more about working on your car , with improving it with every step.👏 Aussie Fan 🤘💯🇦🇺 🤣

Definitely a awesome looking shifter
Your build is coming along.
Nice choice,I have one in my fbody, And you'll never miss a shift going down the track, At least from my experience with it.
I have an mgw on my mustang. Been on there a couple years now and wish I had done it sooner.
looks like a fun shop to do work in! love the energy there. That shift knob looks sick too.
I so agree with this. Amazing vibes and people at GPI! Very lucky to share their space for a bit.
@@KaylaRundle what's your relation to them? Sorry if it's been covered, i'm new to the channel
Traded my 19 manual Mustang GT for a 20 A10 Mustang GT and now i really wish i still had the manual. Great video.

Soo beautiful 😍
Be careful downshifting from 6th to 4th sometimes 2nd say hey remember me it's been a few
Love the shift knob it's so you =)
Imo logo would have been super nice if color matched to the teal on the rest of the car.

Since you want to track the car, you may want to use pink Loc-Tite on the shift knob, to keep it from moving.
Thanks for the suggestion. Driving hard already it started coming undone. I’ll add something to it!
One of the best mods iv'e done to my SS
Thank you ma'am
Chunky (nice).

Jus a quick question is there really a contest? Or is someone posing as you??!
It’s a scam!
Holy shit installing the MGW on my C6 was 10x easier. I didn't even get out of the car. At least we got something easy 😂.

When you have a love affair with your car i believe you will find the romance a bit one sided.
Very interesting. I’ll have to let you know
do you have to wear tight pants?
I do if I want to be comfortable. You should try them.
My 5th gen loves locking me outta first and second gear

Ass work )
The camera angles... I am lost... Not so sure where my eyes should be looking 👀???
how can someone who supposedly works on cars has never used an air gun?
I don’t work on “cars”, I work on “MY cars”. Never invested in powerful air tools. Always have cranked by hand haha
