Kayla: Gotta have...brakes! Excellent video and you continue to amaze me with no work gloves, just getting dirty and making your car..outstanding. Keep it up 👍
Kayla.....Your excitement with each new step completed is fun to watch. I can't wait to see how big of a grin you have when you take your car out for the first time!! Looking forward to it....
Did you remember to brake cleaner the new rotors? They get shipped with a oil coating that help prevent rusting on the shelves but isn’t that great for pad to rotor contact.
Great install video! I'd recommend dumping the Nitto NT555's for road course. From everything I've read/watched/heard from owner's of the Nitto NT555, and even being passenger in two different friend's cars that had them (a 2013 Camaro SS and a 07 Mustang GT), they don't have the best traction. I can't imagine a tire that can lay rubber in a 260whp stock 3V Mustang could be good for a heavy, modified Camaro. Slap some Michelin Pilot Super Sports on your Camaro and not only will traction improve on the road course, but so will braking time. Anyways, love your videos and always looking forward to the next.
I think you did great, on all the install videos you have done! I can't wait to see how much your car has improved in braking, and acceleration. I love what you've done with it, it looks really cool, and I know it's going to be impressive. Keep up the great videos. You go girl!
Hello Kayla how is the car coming is it done I've been following for a while I don't know if I missed the video or a completion video I think the last one I saw was the engine on the dyno which was awesome is the car complete do you have it on the road yet
Air tools gets your adrenalin going, i bet that brake clean to the eye socket really had your Adrenalin kicking😂. Just a heads up, i ALWAYS do a good brake fluid flush the day before track events to be sure its fresh/non contaminated fluid in the calipers to avoid brake fade then bleed them the day after
Kayla, shouldn't your brake rotors be facing the other direction so the slots grab into the brakes? i was always told that i could be wrong but some say it doesn't matter??🤔🤔
I obviously have not watched the entire video yet but I just have to say, it's about time! L😂L You are seriously one of the few TH-cam creators that I look forward to the next video coming out. You need to get on the ball, girl! 🤣
Thank you for always watching and being so supportive! I know I still have a million videos to edit from this series 😂 it’ll be well worth it tho I’m working on stuff now that’ll be posted in a month and the fun never ends!!
Before I put the LS in my s10 I already upgraded the brake system. If you're gonna go faster you gotta stop. Enjoy watching. What is the Pad material???
Love hearing the tunes in the background. Every shop needs a good audio setup lol! I'm putting a tv in mine soon for "research videos". Not sure how it'll affect productivity yet haha. also, those little clips you're talking about on the caliper would probably fit the definition of a part many mechanics know as "Jesus clips", because that's what you say when they fly across the shop trying to install them, lmao. I'm not kidding, ask around the shop if any of them know what jesus clips are and I bet someone will!

At 5:40, there begins a progressive drift into the fenderwell until 30 sec later is fully a hermit crab wearing a Camaro.
I love watching your videos because it’s giving me ideas to do to my own Camaro

No they don’t. Only Cheap white box rotors from China do…. That is for the useless tip.

Great work, I still swear by motul 660!
Although your wildwood 600 fluid is basically the same dot 4!

These are on the correct way! I just follow instructions from manufacturers
I obviously have not watched the entire video yet but I just have to say, it's about time!

@@KaylaRundle Thanks, Kayla! I'm just anxious to watch you grow. 😎👍
Nice job 👌car looks sweet
Looks really good.
Kayla would drilled rotors have any more benefits?
Yes, they crack easier.
Awesome video keep up great work

Just a reminder: after a track day event, you may want to re bleed the brakes. Also did you go with Dot 4 or 5 for your brake fluid?
Dot 5 is Silicone based, big no no
Maybe 5.1, but even then 4 is plenty fine
@@bmwe30guy I should have been more specific , 80% of dot 5 on the shelves (if avail) is 5.1, 5 is racecar
The fluid I used is in my description with the link attached with more info!
