... watching your bullfinch video, 😍, going tomorrow in a local woodland where I saw bullfinches, and I like your videos, I love like you sitting in a hide even with no success... 👍
You probably dont care but if you're bored like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all of the new movies and series on instaflixxer. I've been streaming with my brother for the last months xD
As you said Mike putting in the fieldwork is a good part of the enjoyment for me and if you end up with super close up footage and stills like that - a job well done.👍
Great video I enjoyed it very much. The background colour in the stills showed off the bird beautiful. Explaining the practical reasons for choice of equipment very helpful. The movement composition and endeavour of the Finch feeding terrific.Such content is Inspiring top rate thank you.
Bullfinches were one of our beautiful winter birds in Estonia, now I live in Florida so we have different set of birds here. Thanks for sharing your birdwatching experience 👍
Hello Mike, I enjoy watching your fine video work and also the interessting information you give to us. Now I would like to know, if you got your hands on the Olympus 150-400? I consider buying it to be added to the 300/f4 for stills and video. Regs from Bavaria :-)
Great vidio Mike. Makes you wonder if the Slowed video is close to how the Birds experience time. Looks more like swimming than flying!, can see how each wing beat makes deliberate adjustments to help manoeuvre. Amazing quality and loving the tips.
Until January I was concerned about the lack of positive statements from Olympus about MFT. Since then they have stated they are committed to its future. I am reluctant to preorder a 150-400mm when the waiting list is many months long. I hope to try out a Sony A1 soon.
@@MikeLaneFRPS Thank you! Interesting that you are considering Sony option. Wonder if you thought about going back to Canon with R5 and surely more RF long teles to come or even RF 100-500 whether with those long teles or without?
@@SachinSawe Not really. They both offer 120 fps video it 4K with autofocus. That is mostly what I want and I could have gone for either. I may not keep the Sony.
Olympus selling their imaging division to Japan Industrial Partners recently is not the best news. I'd be looking at Fujufilm for similar alternatives.
Beautiful work lovely light 👍😍
Thank you for all you offer. Great work. Greetings from Greece
Love bullfinches

Mike, I love your passion. Enjoy watching each and every one of them.

@Jordan Andre Definitely, have been watching on instaflixxer for months myself :D
Brilliant video yet again.
As always, full of tips on observation, great camera work and delivered in a calm manner. Enjoyed it.
Excellent video as always!

Great video Mike
Wonderful! Really enjoyed this one! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and beautiful images and footage.
Thank you for this very interesting contribution. Thanks for posting.
I love these short, informative videos. I lived in the UK for the first twenty-five years of my life and don't recall ever seeing a Bull Finch.

Mike I notice that the first bird had bad feet and its hard for them to land and grab on I think it is called scaly mite,,, Chris.
I'm 57 em1x would last a lifetime
Have you tried the EM1X with bird tracking
Yes I have. See th-cam.com/video/wnw-dqW94QI/w-d-xo.html
Lovely video as usual. That poor male was trying to ease the pressure on his feet. Looks very uncomfortable with all those lesions on his feet.
Are you going to get 150-400. In other words do you feel good about Olympus’ commitment or do you think you will switch brand?

@@SachinSawe Yes I looked at Canon and could have gone either way.
@@MikeLaneFRPS Oh I see. I was wondering if you liked something particular in Sony that you mentioned A1. Thanks!
