I was there last September and it was so gorgeous, sun out which made the gardens you walk through so beautiful. The sun being out makes all of the colors on the castle really pop. Which month was this?

With fog you should have totally visit Quinta da Regaleira instead of the Pena Palace. Sintra is a place you have to dedicate some time to, since it has around 6 or 7 palaces and castles to visit, plus the little village at the center. Regaleira is my favourite for foggy days (famous for its maconic initiation track, with a inverted tower staircase). Pena Palace and Monsarrate Palace for sunny days, and Vila Palace and Moors Castle for a second visit.

Next time you have to order sunny weather. You can do that at the Tourist Office! On the other hand, somebody might have ordered fog for that day. Fog is cool and misterious.

Sintra has a micro clima, it could be sunny in Lisbon and foggy in Sintra in summer

Hello 🖐️ crazy travellers 🏂, Is sintra affordable or less costly as compared to rest of Schengen country or european countries, and What does it need if anyone wants to travel sintra from Asia.... and are you guys from sintra or this country native and what they usually charge for food 🍔🍗🥗🍣🧊🧁🍻 in sintra not in big 🏨 hotels or big restaurant,
