They do not even know how to pull up a window or screen in the first place. And often that is not very clear. Some of you even "show off". We all want and need to see the things you are skipping over because of your familiarity. That is what it means. I see some people who are making instructional videos and can't pull up the first screen themselves and fumble around finding out how to do it right on camera.

In this game, it is indeed quite challenging for new players to operate the aircraft, haha. This is my first Microsoft Flight Simulator, and I am amazed by the level of detail and the complexity of flying these crafts. I had thought that other games involving flight had prepared me, but this game is on a whole different level. Of course, it is understandable since it is a flight simulator; however, I genuinely believe that by learning how to fly in this simulator and retaining the crucial flight information provided within the game, one can gain a realistic understanding of what it is like to fly in real life! That is what makes this game so unique and captivating. I have already done one livestream of this game, and I invite you to watch it if you are interested in seeing a true flight simulator novice learning the ropes, lol. Using cockpit only is pretty limited because you have so much more awareness in a real plane. Unless you have eye tracking or VR, use external view to get awareness of surroundings.
Yeah the start was rough but it is good now There is one glitch tho when u turn the Cessna 172 engine on and the 737 max engine on some green lines fly around you plane
I am not interested in the simulation mode. I am interested in a game of "Euro Truck 2 with planes" basically. Where I play a small time pilot, fighting my way to larger and better cargo, delivering people and stuff to hard to reach area. Is this a good game for me?
@@Tooter666 YES, but.. is it a simulator (fully) or does it have a casual setting where I just fly and handle weather, weight of cargo etc but does not have to take into account 9999 buttons and sensors?
@@nagyzoli I just played after trying it on the game pass, it does have assists to help you with multiple things, even ending up with almost full automation, basically go faster or slower and handle the plane, i would also recommend at least a controller because MnK is hard to use, also you have a carreer mode where you start with exibition flights and work your way through commercial planes, night flights or on the rain, also a mora arcady mode to visit emblematic places and take pictures. I would recommend c:

This is mostly due to approach setup (how well you're established), proper trim, and speed/energy management. The best way to explain is to have your aircraft in a profile where it's trimmed to maintain airspeed while it gently floats down with a low -vs. Your flare at the end should nearly arrest the descent which leads to butter landings. A lot of beginners forget to trim their aircraft.

Never felt so overwhelmed with anything, and spent 30 minutes trying to pass the damn checklist and start the aircraft. Kept getting oil pressure lights and auto fail on the attempted start. I quit.
Ever heard of auto start? If it's too overwhelming maybe you should get more knowledge on how it all works. It's your first time, you won't and don't know everything. These types of games take time. Unless you just do the auto engine starts. The game gives you the ability for it to be as complex or simple as you want it. Your fault for making things harder on yourself. Your fault for lack of knowledge. Don't quit. Just make it easier on yourself

I've been flight swimming for years. And MSFS seems to make the sim increasingly complicated and problematic. That of course distracts from all the upgrades over time. And you pay a hefty price for all this frustration as well.
I find it funny that some people , including yourself, still call this a GAME. I'd say with all the instruction and training and pure aviation terminologies and strict rules, that this is NOT a game at all . There are no teams, scores, competition or even a final score you don't get a prize and no one is going to go to the Olympics. I think the real reason the game term came into it is because Micro wanted to get to the Xbox kiddie market where mommy and daddy will buy into it to keep the kiddies quiet in their room with another game, which seems to be the truth of what a lot of parents have done to this point which is why we have what we seem to have today...too many GAMES and not enough REAL. Anyway I am by no means telling anyone what to call anything and they can call it what they like, but I would have to say and I've been in Flight Simulation ( and that's what it used be ) for many many years , I doubt you would go up to the cockpit on your next trip and thank the pilot for " playing a game" after he or she safely flew you to your destination in an 81,000 Lb tube with wings at 500 MPH....Let's really respect it for what it is,,,A HIGHLY RESPECTED SKILL*... If I offended anyone, which isn't at all hard to do these days, OH WELL....ROTATE!

I've played every night including launch day with no problems loading in. I did have issues with the game crashing after 40 minutes or so. The only loading issues I had was the very minute the game was available.

Tip #1: Keep playing 2020 until they fix this game. Career mode and free flights are broken from all the bugs.

Try using simrate(check the setting in the control menu)
You need to hit your cruising altitude to skip to descent.
