No, no deed to peg them first, I was just trying to avoid undoing the display Darche had setup at the 4WD show. Usually you'd zip them on first, then peg them out. ~ Ben
They aren't a camping item, nexusw427, I think they are weights for temporary fencing. They were only being used at the trade show as there was no other way of anchoring the shelters. I think you can pick them up from hardware stores. ~ Ben
So how does one prevent the rain from pouring down between the awning and the camper when it's deployed. Seems like there a gap there that would allow a waterfall right in front of the door of any side-access trailer. Am I missing something?
I guess it would depend on how the awning is mounted, Denis. If it sits high above the roof line then yes, there would be a gap that may need to be protected in some way. But if the awning it mounted low to the roof, and your vehicle has gutters then although it is possible for water to some in through here, especially if the wind is blowing it as such, in my experience, things still stay pretty dry under the awning. The transport cover tends to offer a bit of protection for this gap too. ~ Ben
I can't comment on your specific roof rack sorry BOK, but it is more than likely that it will fit. Most installations require some level of customization but the brackets that are included are quite versatile. As for removal when not in use, this isn't as simple as releasing a clip and taking it off, you would need to undo the bolts fixing the brackets to your roof rack. I guess there's always some level of customization that could be done here though, if you're handy at working with metal. ~ Ben
We are just a retailer in Australia, Aulia, I'm not sure if Darche is distributed throughout Indonesia sorry, the only information I can find is here - darche.com.au/cms/page/view/21. ~ Ben

It’s a nice awning , but the seams do leak , great presentation... l also was a little disappointed for the price l paid, but l didn’t purchase from you it was tent world ..
I'm sorry to hear about the leaking seams, Mark. These are designed to be waterproof, I'd need to know a little more about where you are seeing the leaks. Darche do stand behind their products, if you think there is a fault you can always inquire with the store you purchased it from. ~ Ben
When you attach the walls do you have to peg the bottoms first (they were tied to the yellow fence supports)?

Hi Ben, thanks for the reply.
It is currently a hot product in Korea.
It's also installed in my car.
Thanks for your feedback, 조뱅이. ~ Ben
Where do you get the orange weights from? Seems like a good idea for when pegs don't cut it like in loose sand.

Will this fit onto a Ford Ranger Wildtrak with a pioneer platform roof rack? And is it easy to install and take off when not in use?

The seams leak! Absolutely joke the seams on the awning drip water in rain
They shouldn't leak, Boss Frog, if you purchased it from us then please get in touch so we can look into this for you. ~ Ben
Mines the same leaks at the seams because they're not double stitched
Remember it’s camping, can’t have it all!!, I have them all!!, and would hate to travel with out it, especially if the weather changes!!,
They're definitely one of the most popular awning options out there!
