I had some nostalgia remembering my 1996 after just getting a 9R. This brought me back to reality LOL. The amount of times I got that sled stuck, and I was 6 years when my dad got me one. It was heavy as a rock, and flooded all the time. I loved that sled, but the new ones are cool too.
Unfortunately when we find these sleds, we discover the neglect and care that most don’t give there equipment. I have been where your at. I have a 94 XLT, I put electric start and reverse on mine. Great running machine.
If thats a 97 i have the exact same sled just gonna be changing the suspension and track to a 133.5 with a 1.5 lug cuz my original track has no more lug after last winter awesome video btw also sounded like it melted a piston skirt mine did the same this over the winter got new ones going to check the seals before winter this year
@@braapaholic He's right. When you put it on it's side you've effectively over ridden the float needle, which needs to be somewhere near upright. That's how they get flooded. On my MachZ I've moved the cut off to the outside where it's more accessible and visual.
Make sure you subscribe because we are bringing the XLT back out this year and you guys can keep on roasting me about it!

Needs a real aggressive track. These old Indy XLT's don't lack the power, they lack the traction. I'd be putting a ripsaw with 1.25 inch lugs on there
Try a higher rate primary spring. That thing sounds flat.

New belt and set the deflection she'll be a lot more snappy.
I feel bad for the sled.

Здравствуйте. У вас есть руководство по эксплуатации для данного снегохода?
Hello. Do you have a manual for this snowmobile?
why you asking that?
GET A SUMMIT
Probably pinched a ring on one cylinder.
🏆🏆🏆👍🙏
Thank you for sharing
wow that thing gets stuck a shit ton. Think you need a better track or sumpin.
This is what happens when you push things to hard.....!
Next time turn the fuel off before you put it on the side...wow😂

Thanks for that very helpful comment bro. You probably have many friends with that approach.
Always attack deep snow with a 121 w/1.5" lugs. You're smart, for sure.
Your humor did make the video work, so enjoyed watching.
