Thanks for making this video. It is informative, and I definitely want 9R for technical challenges.
I absolutely love the 9R!!!🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
The best engine ever made 🎉
Why only one piston ring? Seems like an inferior design in terms of reliability and durability to use one piston ring on a big bore two stroke. Really, tell the mechanical engineering reason I'm. curious.
Also will the 9R actually have good tuning for 2025 or does it take y'all 3-5 years to release a motor and fix all the crap wrong with it? Why do the 9R's foul spark plugs and break ceramic on the plug cause we all know its not NGKs issue. I run the same exact model spark plugs in my sled which is not a 9R and the Polaris 850s also run the same spark plug and they do not have problems.
Same with the boost, are you going to fix the clutching so there isn't over revving issues causing a bog? Your intake on the boost is also too small and doesn't let the engine get enough air in the deep snow, when you gonna address that.
When are you going to address the throttle block icing issues that has been around since 2011?
Don't think I'm brand loyal anyone, Cat and Doo also have their issues too and I'd be happy to list them off if someone wants me to. Just tired of seeing brands release sleds that cost 20k USD that don't even run correct or break easily. Quit testing your products on the consumer Polaris, you've been guilty of it for far too long.
These are all realistic backcountry questions why does every Polaris rider need to carry 4 spark plugs?
@@andrew3791only 4 ? You are a lucky dude
@@loukadionne9804 Seems like between me and my buddys im the only one who hasnt fouled a single plug with my 22 850 pro, I changed the plugs because it seemed like a thing to do but hand over my heart I havent fouled a single plug. But then again i run ves extreme and not gold, that seemed like a good idea when i got the sled and its been great.
👍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The clutching issue has been resolved for 24', not sure what rock you've been living under. As far as the plugs, there are riders who haven't had a single fouled plug and then there are those who can't make it more than a few hours without them fouling. Is it the rider? Is it elevation? Is it the quality (or lack there of) of fuel?? We may never know. But jumping to conclusions just because we've seen a handful of cases on the internet isn't fair. It's reckless and irresponsible.
And cat thinks they joined the party with a 858! 😅
Don't discount it until you've ridden one..
Best tree sled in the world.
9R Boost! Take my money!!
Ok. I have older sleds that keep going and haven't seriously looked into newer stuff, but is that engine scaled down or is that actual size? My die hard 97 XLT touring is massive compared to that Tiny Tim.
So how do you explain the price difference? How is it so close to the boost?
I have a 23’ 9r and a 24 but just wondering how the price can be so close?
Do you think polaris is making far more margin dollars on the 9R than the Boost? Seems so based off your question. When it comes down to it, the improvements and extra labor on the 9R motor add up to the same price of a turbo system on a stock 850
9r xcr pretty please
Will the 9R be relased in the assault or Indy? Rumour has it
900 in the xcr with a belt drive please
9r turbo? 9r supercharger?
For MY25 they come with a lifetime supply of Spark Plugs. Then the DETONATOR 9R will be flawless.
why does it eat plugs so bad?
Don’t look at it too hard it will break
U prolly ride a 500 fan
@@danlefrois2846that is so true
High built engine like old style.
y’all wanna send me one to put in my 600r 🥺🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
9R is junk lol
Yip friend of mine bought one, 6.4 miles later crank broke
@@rodirby5952 damn that sucks man 😂
Yawn zzzzzzzz
