I bought Lords of Thunder at release. I remember first putting the disc in and having my mind completely blown. To this day, my absolute favorite Turbo game. Soundtrack and gameplay never get old.

Mt brother and I also had quite a bit of extracurricular fun with regular darts as well. We used to throw them at each other in the basement, because we were MORONS! Miraculously, neither of us ever managed to get hit. Remember the baseball game on the backside of the cheap dartboards? I played the hell out of that; against myself. Kept score and everything. I'd play as the pitcher for both sides, and the goal was to keep the score as low as possible. Once that got boring, then of course I'd start seeing how hard I could throw them, until they start coming out the back and into the wall. Once THAT was boring, then I'd throw them at my KISS poster on my wall, which was that killer '70's style wood paneling. I threw so many darts at that poster over the years, that all the little holes started to run together into bigger holes, and then parts of the poster would start to come off. This is when my mother first noticed it, and she had me take the poster off the wall to see the damage. This is the first day that I ever thought my sweet ma was capable of murder.

Bit, man, you GOTTA get a decent Retroarch set-up for your emulation and use Launchbox for your front end. It's got Run Ahead which ELIMINATES INPUT LAG!!!! Bro it's even better than original hardware--for real. And you've got nice CRT filters too. Look into it.
recently got lords of thunder on PCE. Unbelievable game. The Wind armor is alright. I think the Water Armor is really good in that level and most of them. I am so close to beating it. Game is AMAZING.
We used to play dart tennis , you stood about 30m away from each other and hoist a dart at each other .. you had to stop the dart with a plank of wood. It was full points if you stopped the dart in front of your body .. 50 points for catching it in front of your face .. good fun ..

Everything BitHead just said about lawn darts could not be more similar to my own experience! I have many fond memories of Jarts. My brother and I were always trying to see how high we could play catch with the baseball, so these came at the perfect time and as a natural extension to throwing the ball around.
