The Dreamcast was a phenomenal system that just came about at the wrong time. I remember back around 99, whenever the PSone came out, the small one, wanting a PSone and they were sold out. My dad bought me a refurbished DC from Funcoland in Texas and I got 4X4 Evolution and Test Drive 6 and the system stopped working not long after getting it, so we took it back and they had a brand new one and we got it for no extra cost. Easily one of my favorite systems of all time. So many underrated titles. Soul calibur and 4x4 Evo are my two favorites.
Glad you took my recommendation on Zero Gunner 2! Like you say, the control scheme takes a lot of getting used to, but once it clicks it's great. Love that game.
Absolutely loved Toy Commander! Single player was great, a wide variety of fun missions with all the different vehicles. Also played the hell out of 4 player split screen and had so much fun with the dogfighting. There is no multiplayer quite like it.

Nice to see you take my suggestion, i feel like i got a shout out on the radio lol, toy commander starts simple but gets insane, you go from room to room conquering them as you go, using different vehicles and the oldskool green army men, you should give it a proper sitting, you wont regret it, n just hang some small bags of rice in the game cupboards, thatll absorb any moisture in the air
The Zero Gunner 2 control is original and a bit weird at first but when you get used to it, it's great. I find myself using the pivot almost all the time and rubber-banding from the center point in a very satisfying fashion! In trademark Psikyo style every boss has a huge mech that busts out! Great game
Hey Jesse , are you into reel to reel tape decks ? I have a few ole Teac reel to reel machines . Tape is underappreciated and misunderstood . Cassette tape especially . I remember back in the 80's buying the cheap 2 pack of cassettes and snarking at the price of Type II and Type 4 . Now I realize that those high bias and metal tapes where great for saving your LP's from wear and tear and in the right deck they sound just as good . I started rounding up type II and type IV back in 2005 from thrift and flea markets . The price of NOS type 2 & 4 is through the roof . Anyways , I was just thinking back at a time when the cassette tape was the main medium for music . I was born in 80 so I can remember the tail end of LP's . I also remember seeing the long box CD's in the Sundry Store . They had the AC/DC Highway to Hell that was on a spinning rack for what seem like years . Not many folks in my hometown could afford that new age technology lol . CD players in the mid to late 80's were fkin expensive . Sorry for this long ass babbling story . Soldier Blaaaaaaaaaa-duh! Man, what a game! I grew up a Genesis guy, and dutifully bought my copy of Thunder Force III the day it came out. I think if you put any pic side-to-side of those two games, TF3 would. be the winner any day of the week. Having recently discovered Soldier Blade though, I’d have to say that there’s so much more game there than TF! One of those situations where you just have to actually play it to get it! I feel sorry for all those poor S.O.B.’s (myself included) that didn’t get to experience this masterpiece as it was released!.

Ehh it's not the artwork it's the contacts on the games. I see you use dexoit d5 on them so that's really good, but just having them out with extreme temperatures is going to cause corrosion. Ehh it's not the artwork it's the contacts on the games. I see you use dexoit d5 on them so that's really good, but just having them out with extreme temperatures is going to cause corrosion.
