    Looks like two cylinders of different diameters connected in series. Rod end flow from the larger cylinder is sent to the head end of the smaller cylinder. As long as the annulus area in the larger cylinder is the same as the piston area in the smaller cylinder you will obtain synchronized extension and retraction.

    Why parallel connected two cylinders don't work properly, both rod are not coming out at same time and does not go back at same time, please tell the solution for this problem and tell how have you done this synchronization

      Because fluids are lazy and electricity is also lazy so it will chose the path of least mechanical or electrical resistance.

    Hard to tell from video whether they are truely synchronized. Not an easy task.

      It demonstrates a simple method of synchronization for hydraulic cylinders without needing multiple pumps or special valving. Multiple cylinders can be made to extend and retract at the same rate. For people lifting buildings or bridges this is a necessity. Without a method for synchronization, flow will always go to the least resistance and only one cylinder will move.

      @@klpittman1 Yep! but it is a crap video as it show no method of synchronisation. No view of the pipe set up or valve connections etc. And no verbal explaination. Its easy to have sychronisation in brand new componants which are exactly the same batch numbers etc but when seals are wearing in or the set up only allows incompatable lengths of hydraulic tube for connecting up then proportional valves or serial connecting is nessarsary. As Makarand says. very stupid video.

      @@anvildave2 how hydraulic cylinders on backhoe swing work?There are 2 cylinders but when one is extracting other is contracting.So how speed is adjusted since one that is contracting is always faster?

    • @klpittman1
      @klpittman1 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@anvildave2 Using 2 double acting cylinders and a closed circuit, the piston area on the rod side of cylinder one is equal to the piston area of the head end of piston 2 cylinder. Synchronization is automatic as volume transferred from one cylinder to the other is the same and piston area is equal. Cylinder 1 has a larger diameter but once the are of rod diameter is subtracted, it is equal to piston area of cylinder 2.
