you have to admit that CS is the toughest faction: the went straight toe to toe with the heart of the zone. they lost, but only strelok's group and the military can get the stones to do so.
I, like many people, underestimated Clear Sky because their main source of power comes from Scar, but in a way, to me that makes them even more inspiring. Their motivation to "save the zone" from Strelok completely surpasses their survival instinct, because not even Freedom is crazy enough to bring the battle to the centre of the zone when you're completely outmatched. Even if Scar hadn't shown up, they would've stilled tried to get to the center, they just wouldn't gotten far. The fact that many things in SoC were set in motion by Clear Sky (Gauss rifles, the Marked One's mission) is actually pretty awesome. I have a feeling the reason the monolith in SoC were so badass, is because they're actually the Clear Sky faction; I sort of agree with the theory that Scar is Charon.
@@Desh681 In CoP at the harbor in pripyat, you can see a Monolith in an exo named Scar praying to the monolith, he has an PDA that you can sell to owl also.

Firstly, the developers transferred the locations to the game as realistically as possible, and secondly, the face of the leader of "Clear Sky" Lebedev was transferred from the guard of the GSC studio, and the technician Novikov was generally transferred from the director of security of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, who enthusiastically helped young people develop the iconic game of an entire generation:)
God imagine how lonely Novikov and Nimble are feeling, knowing full well Clear Sky just disappeared in the blink of an eye once the emission in the CNPP hit after turning off Strelok's device. I played Clear Sky again recently and it was a goddamn adventure. I was so used to Escape from Pripyat and Anomaly as a whole that I forgot how the old games felt, once I returned to Clear Sky out of curiosity I forgot how to open my inventory and PDA because of EFP. However I will say this, Clear Sky might be gone, but their courageous efforts will not be forgotten.
@@maxdeum8383 not really, only novikov and nimble are left, you can go to CoP and when you go to the science lab, novikov will tell you how clear sky was destroyed.
@@alraz5832 Since Kholod and Kalancha wasn't with the group i suppose some of the CS guys stayed at the Swamp and now rebuilding the faction. At least that was my headcanon for years, and i prefer to believe they're not gone.

Such a novice that I prefered to spend nights waiting at the Clear Sky base rather than ever trying something at night. Speaking to Cole, hearing exposition. Observing guns, quests, artifacts hop around a fire. I was scared... but learning what truly is to be a S.T.A.L.K.E.R
nothing like running through the night swamps after hearing a bloodsucker noise back to that island of safety and the music makes reaching the base even more rewarding like that

Then it all went down hill with Lebedevs plan, just gone, all of it, in the blink of an eye. Sometimes I still remember Toshka and Ivy sitting next to me at the campfire, laughing about life outside the zone. Dasvadanya, stalkers, but more importantly, Brothers…
I started playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, again i didn't enjoy it the first time due to not knowing a lot of stuff i need to know. anyway i started a new game and after getting the hang of it, i found it better then Fallout: New Vegas. and now, Anomalies are the only thing that manages to kill me. I returned to reveal the ironic way I beat the game: At the beginning I got a Remington shotgun from a dead clear sky member when, after the way to cordon was captured, I called it: Lucky Shotgun, because it's condition was so bad it would've jammed almost every time, but never did! but got the better SPAS-12. I beat the bandits with a un-upgraded sunrise suit, and Lucky Shotgun, so I joined Duty, and got the armor I used throughout the rest of the game, the Bulat Armored Suit... Hah! just kidding! I used the PSZ Duty Armor for the rest of the game, with 2 upgrades, +5 weight and radiation and chemical protection. I used the FT-2000M... I think that's what it's called anyway... eh whatever, anyway I used the armor and the gun through Limask, Deserted Hospital and the Chernobyl NPP. Monolith experts shredded my health, used most of my 70+ bandage supply, most of my 40+ medkit supply, but made it to the end, and deactivated Strelok's Psi-protection. Ironic huh. So in a nutshell, I was getting shredded every gunfight I got in with a pack of Monolith experts.
You have not experienced true pain till you've played the entirety of clear sky by just using the starter Clear Sky suit through the whole game not realising you can change it out

Might be a bit late replying as I have only just checked these comments lol but I may do a 10 hour loop version of all S.T.A.L.K.E.R. radios. We will see. :)
Clear Sky is probably the most successful faction out of all of them They went straight to Chernobyl with nothing but a few members, guns, standard issue clear sky armor and successfully saved the entire zone by stopping the big emissions once and for all Well I guess just once because they're back in call of pripyat but hey that's way smaller than before
Emissions are more frequent in CoP than in any other game. Clear Sky failed miserably, never really stopped anything, not even Strelok, and is now out of action. The downfall of Clear Sky was decided right when they found Scar. Clear Sky always gave me an eerie feeling, so did Scar. Love them both though
@@levan72 idk man I guess because they did fixed the gauss rifle back to it's original state that might be the only other important thing because the monoliths has a fuckton of them
@@charon2588 what they fixed was a EM-1 Rifle, which is Gauss' precursor, an experimental electromagnetic rifle used for incapacitating electronic devices from a distance. It is ineffective against live targets, unlike the Gauss Rifle. Don't get me wrong, i love Clear Sky, but the only truth is that they failed and you never hear from them again, in SoC or CoP, only ex-members. Such is life, i guess.
@@levan72 correct yes but the only wondering of mine is how many of these Gauss rifles exist? the only 2 confirmed i found was in CS and COP where both have different stats one's for electronic malfunctioned and the other's the normal one but in SOC its a fucking trooper rifle for the monoliths and how theyre making a frick ton of them? did the monolith told them to or something?
@@charon2588 probably the Group is supplying them, since the Group is still active and giving order to the Monolith even in CoP. But people know or can learn how to make them and/or even repair them, documents of them exist, Cardan is one of the few that can do it, since he was part of the Project 62.
Compared to the stalker, the shadow of Chernobyl and the call of Pripyat, the stalker clear sky pales. And besides, everything in it just rolls down to postrelushki.
why i just discovered this game now i was 10 years old when the last episode coming out and never ever heard of it until 2024 i found a trilogy named STALKER and damn this is now by 24 the best game i played so far, just started the 2 and 3 later
Back when I played the three games in canon order, I hoped for a sequel (That the Clear Sky survivors who didn't follow Scar managed to survive the events of SOC through COP, and came back as a whole faction again.) then I found Stalker Anomaly, an unofficial stand alone mod/game that allows you to join any faction, and Clear Sky is one of them, haven't stopped playing since. Also looking forward to Stalker Heart of Chernobyl, maybe they'll make a comeback.
Ahw maan, i loove this game so much! At the moment I'm at the point in the game where I went to Cordon to talk to Sidorovich. I have to go to the Stalker camp. :) I really *looooove* this game!
nimble somehow survived 3 games straight 1st game is just a sleepy Intel guy 2nd is just literally appeared once at the beginning and never appeared again 3rd is a little more important being a specialist merchant specialized in rare goods including the CS-3A

@@charon2588 what they fixed was a EM-1 Rifle, which is Gauss' precursor, an experimental electromagnetic rifle used for incapacitating electronic devices from a distance. It is ineffective against live targets, unlike the Gauss Rifle.
Don't get me wrong, i love Clear Sky, but the only truth is that they failed and you never hear from them again, in SoC or CoP, only ex-members. Such is life, i guess.
@@levan72 correct yes but the only wondering of mine is how many of these Gauss rifles exist? the only 2 confirmed i found was in CS and COP where both have different stats one's for electronic malfunctioned and the other's the normal one but in SOC its a fucking trooper rifle for the monoliths and how theyre making a frick ton of them?
did the monolith told them to or something?
@@charon2588 probably the Group is supplying them, since the Group is still active and giving order to the Monolith even in CoP. But people know or can learn how to make them and/or even repair them, documents of them exist, Cardan is one of the few that can do it, since he was part of the Project 62.

Compared to the stalker, the shadow of Chernobyl and the call of Pripyat, the stalker clear sky pales. And besides, everything in it just rolls down to postrelushki.
Should've played Shadow of Chernobyl first, because in Clear Sky Marked One is Strelok and it destroys the mystery man's mystery in the first game.

why i just discovered this game now i was 10 years old when the last episode coming out and never ever heard of it until 2024 i found a trilogy named STALKER and damn this is now by 24 the best game i played so far, just started the 2 and 3 later

Back when I played the three games in canon order, I hoped for a sequel (That the Clear Sky survivors who didn't follow Scar managed to survive the events of SOC through COP, and came back as a whole faction again.) then I found Stalker Anomaly, an unofficial stand alone mod/game that allows you to join any faction, and Clear Sky is one of them, haven't stopped playing since. Also looking forward to Stalker Heart of Chernobyl, maybe they'll make a comeback.
