It is a shame that the war against Duty is so, so broken. Duty troops are coming in a very frequent basis, while Freedom squads are virtually non-existing. At least you can feel yourself Rambo killing hundreds of Dutiers alone and waiting for Freedom to cap the checkpoints.

You can hate me but i wish in Stalker 2 there was situation like Duty guys and freedom guys sitting around camp fire. Drinking, smoking and laughing. Only those few that even by diffrent point of view they still stay humans. Maybe one of them could ask player to not report it to Duty nor Freedom about it and only player can decide what to do. It could be fun to see Duty guy smoking weed would be funny.

Freedom canonically was so strong that the developers had to make sure all their members you meet in game are high just not to ruin balance but still preserve lore logic.

Freedom is not stoned 24/7/365, yes they do drugs but freedom has one simple and important rule that have been mentioned by leader of faction in Shadow of Chernobyl and by recruiter's in call of pripyat " absolute freedom of actions outside of combat/ raids exchange of total loyality and descepline during action/missions, so soldiers in barrier are in high alert and during wars with enemies of faction they're USUALLY not high

I joined Freedom today. And I love this fraction. In clear sky, the trader of Freedom is the best trader, because you can buy silencer, scope and a lot of good stuff from him, and its just great. And in SoC, Lukash give you excellent missions with very good reward. Its just great too. :)

@@OperatorMax1993 favorite factions for me have to be Clear Sky, (lore and armor is amazing, also I like the blue/white color scheme) Freedom, (because FUCK DOOTY, and I smoke more weed than Skinflint on a bad day) Ecologists, (only if I'm coming back from a break, NEVER USE Science Suits, only use guard armor) and Loners (because an apolitical stalker is a very good stalker) Mercs are cool, but in most games and mods, their gear is busted asf, (anomoly ACE merc SEVA for example) but they're tolerable. Duty, on the other hand is as fanatic on destroying the zone as the Monolith are on expanding it and worshipping the C-Consciousness. Also duty base is Easily one of the most noob-friendly starting locations in any mod. I honestly hope that stalker 2 won't diverge from the original titles, other than graphics and maybe weapons.

@@yourlocalcyborg probably, there's even an addon for the food, drinks and tobacco stuff in Anomaly that feels like tarkov and there is also a mod that needs a manager, MCM and the addon is Zone Customization Project it lets you change the zone even more, like even disabling mutants and stalkers which means you can have a tarkov style zone with no mutants (sadly the radiation and anomalies are still there) and have the Mercs as USEC, Military as BEAR, Bandits as Scavs and idk about the date, it did say 2022 i believe

@@noksve In CoC and other mods like Anomaly they survive barely the only survivors being Novikov/gray, Proffesor Kalancha ( the only surviving member of the C-Consciousness scientists ) and Cold. Cold later became the leader.
Darko Darenzy Freedom takes the foremost hostile positions in the lore. They camp in mutant infested areas and prevent loners from getting killed by them. They also blockade the monolith and know that attacking the zone in meaningfull senses only makes it more hostile and dangerous. Freedom is more belligerent than duty for three reasons, They take on more dangerous mutants, namely bloodsuckers which are always near their territory aswell as psychic mutants while duty mostly defends itself from dogs and camps industrial areas. Freedom also fights mercenaries which duty never engage and actively ignore in everygames. The freedom faction actively fight against mercenaries in every game while bandits are never much of a concern for duty at all (garbage being a ruthless place where they dominate). Also freedom fights the monolith while duty attacks it in the back, which makes it obvious duty doesn't care about loners, they do not want to defend them at all and think they are a reasonable sacrifice to destroy the zone.
Freedom has to be the most chill faction i have ever seen in any game and they are in one of the scariest and most depressing game series in gaming history.

Freedom is not stoned 24/7/365, yes they do drugs but freedom has one simple and important rule that have been mentioned by leader of faction in Shadow of Chernobyl and by recruiter's in call of pripyat " absolute freedom of actions outside of combat/ raids exchange of total loyality and descepline during action/missions, so soldiers in barrier are in high alert and during wars with enemies of faction they're USUALLY not high
The latest rendition of the MISERY mod for Call of Pripyat includes cannabis. It does make you tired and adds mild psi protection. There's even a bong sound effect.

I joined Freedom today. And I love this fraction. In clear sky, the trader of Freedom is the best trader, because you can buy silencer, scope and a lot of good stuff from him, and its just great. And in SoC, Lukash give you excellent missions with very good reward. Its just great too. :)

@@OperatorMax1993 favorite factions for me have to be Clear Sky, (lore and armor is amazing, also I like the blue/white color scheme) Freedom, (because FUCK DOOTY, and I smoke more weed than Skinflint on a bad day) Ecologists, (only if I'm coming back from a break, NEVER USE Science Suits, only use guard armor) and Loners (because an apolitical stalker is a very good stalker)
Mercs are cool, but in most games and mods, their gear is busted asf, (anomoly ACE merc SEVA for example) but they're tolerable. Duty, on the other hand is as fanatic on destroying the zone as the Monolith are on expanding it and worshipping the C-Consciousness. Also duty base is Easily one of the most noob-friendly starting locations in any mod. I honestly hope that stalker 2 won't diverge from the original titles, other than graphics and maybe weapons.

@@yourlocalcyborg probably, there's even an addon for the food, drinks and tobacco stuff in Anomaly that feels like tarkov
and there is also a mod that needs a manager, MCM
and the addon is Zone Customization Project
it lets you change the zone even more, like even disabling mutants and stalkers
which means you can have a tarkov style zone
with no mutants (sadly the radiation and anomalies are still there)
and have the Mercs as USEC, Military as BEAR, Bandits as Scavs
and idk about the date, it did say 2022 i believe

@@noksve In CoC and other mods like Anomaly they survive barely the only survivors being Novikov/gray, Proffesor Kalancha ( the only surviving member of the C-Consciousness scientists ) and Cold. Cold later became the leader.

SVOBODA BEST FAKSHUN IN ZONE
Darko Darenzy Freedom takes the foremost hostile positions in the lore. They camp in mutant infested areas and prevent loners from getting killed by them. They also blockade the monolith and know that attacking the zone in meaningfull senses only makes it more hostile and dangerous.
Freedom is more belligerent than duty for three reasons, They take on more dangerous mutants, namely bloodsuckers which are always near their territory aswell as psychic mutants while duty mostly defends itself from dogs and camps industrial areas.
Freedom also fights mercenaries which duty never engage and actively ignore in everygames. The freedom faction actively fight against mercenaries in every game while bandits are never much of a concern for duty at all (garbage being a ruthless place where they dominate).
Also freedom fights the monolith while duty attacks it in the back, which makes it obvious duty doesn't care about loners, they do not want to defend them at all and think they are a reasonable sacrifice to destroy the zone.
