"What are you doing here, Grandma?" When I got to my son's house, I was shocked by what I saw. In the dim light, my grandchild was sitting outside the door, without shoes. "Aren't you cold?" "Yeah." Without thinking, I hugged my grandchild. I remembered the weather report saying it might snow tonight. How could my son and his wife leave such a young child outside? I started to get angry.

I had trouble following the story. The Narrator speaks fast and i couldn't read the captions as they wouldnt come up.

As a grandmother you too was just as bad. You only sided for on child and not the other. I believe you should have kept the siblings together. It's not their fought that their parents are not fit and as a grandparent love both of them. They will only have each other as time goes so they should learn and use the heir inner bond as connection even if you they only have half a pull. Sometimes half a pull between siblings get compensated thru out life. You did good on one point so.....finish the job grandma.

@ke-lynke-a8266; When the Grandmother found Her grandchild outside on that cold day, She KNEW that child was not being treated properly. Than when She moved in with Her son/DIL, She SAW Her granddaughter under fed and not treated properly. She KNEW Her Son, than at the end of the Story, She took in Both Her grandchildren because Her Son/DIL, lost custody, in the Court case for child neglect of the oldest daughter/young son.
One child is not being fed, one child is being abused. One child is not being shown love. She is not picking sides.
Horrible written story. My god! DO BETTER!
