Never got to meet JDF sadly, but meeting Jenna and knowing how she is with fans. I can only imagine how he was for her to witness it growing up. Truly a legend.
I had the pleasure of meeting JDF during the Covid 19 Pandemic. He was touring local comic book shops as part of his Power Rangers Protection Program. He talked about how comic book stores meant a lot to him growing up and how he didn't want to see those stores close. The fact that he JDF still wanted to meet his fans even as the world was shutting down really meant a lot to me. Was it a long wait? Yes but it was worth it. Had him autograph my DVD copy to Turbo a Power Rangers Movie. In fact the rest of the Rangers have signed it. Means much more to me now.
My wife and I met JDF in Lubbock, Texas, in August of 2022. It seemed as if everything was working against us for us not to meet him that day. But, thankfully, we did, and he couldn't have been more awesome! I'm glad we met him before that dark day.
Favorite JDF moment was meeting him for the first time. His energy when he entered the con floor was incredible. You could tell he loved his fans so much and the best part was he took time to demonstrate his martial arts skills to the crowd. I was up close to the demonstration. It was amazing! I will never forget that moment.
I was lucky enough to meet JDF several times, earlier on in his Convention ‘Career’. He did a VIP fan dinner at Anime Festival Orlando, I believe in 2011. He gave everyone generous time to talk, autographs/selfies or whatever else any of his fans wanted (my best friend Sterling’s voicemail was a personal recorded message from JDF for the longest time). Several Ranger Nation VIP’s at the time were there, including Lisa J from No Pink Spandex. But on top of all of that, what I remember most was what happened after all that; Jason held court for a good 10-15 minute motivational speech just for us! It felt like the predecessor to the TH-cam videos he did later on, it was a really cool intimate moment for the small group that were lucky enough to be there. I had just lost my father then, so to see a man I grew up idolizing (who was a father now as well) taking a valuable hour or two out of his day to spend some personal time with some of his closest fans, and on top of that push us to be the best version of ourselves and never give up, meant a great deal to me. That will forever be my memory of Jason Frank; he always wanted to use his platform as the biggest star of the franchise to motivate and inspire. Sure, he sold a lot of merch and autographs, and made/helped his friends make good money through social media and the convention circuit, no doubt. But he took his role as a hero for a generation seriously, and will always be remembered as a force for good in this world, even more so off the screen as he did on. RIP JDF 💚
@@TheLegacyofNerd Thanks! Happy to share, don’t get much opportunity to talk about JDF these days. Thank YOU for fostering such a nice positive community on your channel, I love your content!
I never got to meet JDF in real life but his character Tommy Oliver inspired me to fight my medical condition especially every time I’m admitted to the hospital. I’m battling Stage V Chronic Kidney Disease for 11 years now and there’s a plethora of complications that will plague you. Tommy’s positive outlook in life and encouraging others to be better inspired me to be brave and fight this disease.
My best memory was meeting him at Huntsville's Comic Con. He was on the phone and was explaining he was at the con still and to prove it he took a picture of me inline before we started talking. I convinced myself he had that saved in his phone forever and I told everyone "I am on Tommy's phone!" Hahaha. He was amazing. It reignited my love for Power Rangers, and I started collecting memorabilia and the comics. Without that day, I may never have found your channel!
JDF was like a big brother to me. he taught me things i take to heart even to this day. though i never got to meet him in person. our talks online with each other were always great and i love the time he scolded me for touching the dragon dagger and i accidently summoned the dragonzord and made a mess of things. you know a couple buildings here and there. lol. there are times when i am down that i miss that big brother advice he would always give to me. missing you lots, big bro. #RIPJDF #RangersForever
My favorite memory is the time I first met JDF was in Lexington, KY back in 2012 found out some how on Facebook he was going to be there and I just had to go when the day came I drove the three hours to get there hardly slept because I was excited took my friend with me I remember getting in there walked by the food court and there he was having subway for breakfast I would have loved to meet him but I didn’t want to be that guy so I kept walking towards the venue floor go to finding out where his line was and waited they had us over in a overflow area after a while we learned he was at his table and started meeting the fans it was taking a while but I didn’t mind said I’ve waited many years to meet him even if I waited all day I was fine with it eventually he came over to the overflow area and spoke so we could all hear him saying he was sorry for the long wait he was very appreciative to see all of us but he was making sure to take time with everyone and not rush anyone so please be patient and he will get to everyone I just finished a Red Bull and ready to get through this eventually my turn came I was so excited and nervous but I had to think he is a human just like me and not be so nervous I got like one or two things signed and got a picture taken he had a dragon dagger and sword of darkness props on display and I asked if I could have the sword of darkness in the picture he said yes and got a couple poses with it he held if of course but I was still happy meeting and having a picture with my hero and he still is my hero I got to meet him a few more times after that last was in 2020 unfortunately but I’m glad I got to meet him sorry for the long post but it’s always my favorite to tell
My favorite Tommy Oliver moment is When He is Lord Drakkon so sad we didn't get that storyline in live action He would have been perfect for the season 2 episode of Power Rangers Ninja Steel Called Dimensions in Danger
I never met jdf myself, my husband did & he must have been & ment something special to him. The day he passed my hubby just sat & in silence that day. I'm sure he's missed by many more people like my husband
I remember when I was 5 years old my parents bought me JDF’s instructional Karate VHS. That kick started my martial arts interest. Now my son is starting to get into MMPR and we will sadly never get to meet him, but his memory lives on. RIP JDF.
I remember the day JDF debuted as the black ranger in Dino Thunder Clear as day, having that 2 parter build up with him fighting his past rangers in his coma and then overcoming it and came back in black easily my fav tommy/ JDF moment :)
I never get to meet JDF but he was my favorite character, tommy was one of the few we get to see grow and become so much more than just a teenage with attitude and I think the moment that best represents that is in Dino thunder when his fighting his past rangers self and never surrender showing us once again why he was the greatest ranger who ever lived ❤😢❤
My favourite JDF moment is when I met him when he came to the Montreal Comiccon a couple years ago… I was the first waiting in line for a photo with him in his Green Ranger costume and me in my Ghostbusters’. When he arrived, he told the crowd waiting that he was sorry because he forgot his Morpher for his belt at his hotel room… lucky for him… I just happen to have one from a friend and I told him he could borrow mine if it can help… and he agreed on the spot!! When he finished with it… he came to our booth and spend around 30 minutes chatting with me!! He was a legend and a wonderful human being!! R.I.P JDF!! 🤘🏻
When i met JDF in 2020 he signed my tattoo and we filmed a prank of him signing Jason Faunt's (Time Force Red) name instead of his own. When i met Jason Faunt last year he loved getting to hear that story as they had become like brothers over the years.
My favorite JDF moments were when I was in Atlanta, GA for rangerstop I met him at the airport accidentally when I bumped into him and when he came to my school for the dare program when I was 9 years old!
Never met JDF but I know he was a very nice and good person wish I met him sooner before his passing he meant so much to me and I think he sent me luck because I found a Jason David Frank signed Funko pop going for 169 and I just think he sent me down some luck for it.
I was lucky enough to meet JDF in El Paso and in Albuquerque at a comic book store. I loved watching him on TV and meeting him in person. I can't believe it's been almost 3 years now. Lastly, we did the fusion dance in El Paso and it was fun. Lol.
In March of 2022 I told my buddy we should take a trip to Colorado Springs for a comic con solely to see him (everyone else was a bonus). As a whole the event was a smash but the kindness and courtesy that JDF showed us and made time get to us amongst his legion of fans. To my friend that trip and moment were probably some of the most formative and important of his life and it paid off to have an honor to meet him before his passing.
Obligatory never met JDF. However that fact that he was still a strong "ambassador" of Power Rangers even when he wasn't participating in a season really spoke to his passion with the series and owning that passion out in the world. I really wish I could of met him and just told him thank you for making me proud to still be a Power Rangers fan in my thirties. Thank you Jason David Frank! May your legacy live on and the power protect you in the next life!
Tommy becoming the White Ranger is still one of the greatest childhood memories and moments on television. The man that played the Green and White Ranger was a hero in real life as well as in the show. RIP JDF.
I actually met JDF through martial arts. he was hosting a seminar when I was younger and I was able to attend and learn a lot watching him on tv and then being able to have that interaction in person is one of the reason I continued to learn and invest in martial arts 🙏🏾
I unfortunately never got to meet JDF, but him and Tommy meant so much to my childhood. One of my most vivid memories was when I was hospitalised at 4 years old after an accident off the back of my mums bike, as a present I got The Green Candle VHS and the Dragonzord. I was already a power rangers fan by that point, but it was after this I truly became a fanatic as a child
Met JDF at a comicbook store signing. I was very nervous because people always say never meet your heroes. But damn, JDF made it so easy. He was so kind and took his time with every fan. Including myself, we chatting for a bit and he even sign items for me for free. He didn't need to do that I didn't even ask for extra autographs. He exceeded my expectations.
I will always regret never meeting Jason. You always think you have more time until you don’t. My favorite JDF moments aside from his performance in MMPR were his motivational videos and live streams he would make for Instagram and TH-cam. And when I got to meet his daughter Jenna a few months ago. Having recently lost my mother and her losing her father, our conversation meant a great deal to me. Legends never die💚
Todays my birthday and I find that I miss JDF everyday. I met him at a con a few years ago after my wife surprised me with convention tickets for my birthday! He was so genuine to meet in person and somehow I went from 30 years old back to 10 years old meeting my hero.
I got to meet JDF at comicon scotland and got to told him he was my childhood hero and when he was told I was in the army he told me that I was a true hero and he was the most respectful and humble individual I have ever met. It was a true tragedy when we all lost such a wonderful man
My favorite JDF moment was at the ending of Fighting Spirit when he says thank you. Ultimately, it was a thank you message to the fans. Such a kind soul he was, I wish I could've met him. This past year's Power Morphicon was a great first time experience for me, but it was missing something, and it was him. It's not the same without him
While I never got to meet JDF, he showed me as a young boy watching the series that leadership can be soft and strong, quiet and loud, and humble and dignified. He taught me that being a leader is so much more than being front and center - it is about self-sacrifice and knowing when to step back to allow others to develop and reach their potential.
I met JDF by a miracle of a chance. My friend gave me a ticket to a convention that he couldnt go to. After that, we went to a comic shop and they just happened to have an old 90s green ranger plush doll still in its packaging. I brought it to have signed. He hyped the line up that was waiting to meet him. Told people to take pictures. It was great. He even signed multiple things for free on some people AND took photos as well. It was a great and unforgettable moment for me.
He was the reason I kept going in life. I didn't have the best childhood. Tommy and the team helped me escape only if for lil while from reality. I honestly don't care if I win or not that man changed and saved lives of so many. Thank you Jason Frank Rest in Paradise.
Tommy’s transition from Green Ranger to White Ranger was pure epicness! The reveal, the power, the leadership it still gives me chills every time. Truly one of the most iconic moments in Power Rangers history! ⚡🤍💥
My only JDF moment I have is the day I met him. I met him at my local comic shop during his JDF tour. We were next in line when the local news came in for an interview. He apologized for making us wait even though it was amazing to have a front row seat to a JDF interview. When I finally met him he was so friendly and was super interested in the fact my wife was a fan too. He said his FB demographic shows a small percent of female fans and he was interested in why she was a fan. He really showed genuine interest in my JDF card collection and signed 8 cards for free. It sounds cheesy, but I can literally say that he changed my life that day. After having such an amazing experience meeting him, I immediately booked my ticket for the first convention to meet other Ranger actors, and since then my wife and I have been to dozens of conventions and I’ve met tons of actors from our childhood. And I really owe that all to him.
Thank you so much for letting me know about this cool new comic. Like many others, I never had the chance to meet JDF, but it was something I would have cherished. There was something about him that I always connected with, not just in his role as the Power Ranger, but as a real person. Maybe it was his personality, his passion for connecting with others, or his faith as a Christian. It’s heartbreaking to see someone so loved and respected struggling on the inside.
I remember going to Comic Con excited to meet JDF and then he asked everyone if anyone wants to perform with him and I raised my hand quietly since I was wearing my marvel shirt, but his pointed at me, I pointed at myself and whispered “me” and he said yes, so I got up on stage with him to perform Jujitsu in front of the newer generation of fans and then after that I’ve met him at his both a couple of times after that and had a chance to talk to him. It was the best year and memory I could ever have.
Biggest thing with JDF and all of the Power Rangers, is being able to share it with my son's. Have a 21 year old son who came into my life with his mother when he was 7 and a 10 year old we have together, both with Autism. They both really got into Power Rangers but mainly the Green with Evil series because of the Green Ranger. It's really like seeing myself as a kid watching the series. My oldest to this day will watch the Green with Evil series non stop.
I had the chance to meet him when I was hospitalized as a child back when he first started as Green Ranger. He did a visit at a park and my mother asked if he could do a surprise visit for me. Happiest day of my childhood life lol!!
Never met JDF but my favorite Tommy moment was watching him on screen with his real life brother during Zeo. Hopefully they are reunited and sharing stories together
My favorite moment that I'll never forget was when JDF popped up as the white ranger! I remember that moment as a kid and I geeked out. He was always my favorite ranger!
Always wanted to meet him but never got the chance, I just loved how Tommy was always there for his friends! It was also dope to see him take on the role of the leader with humbleness. 🤘🏻💪
My favorite story of JDF (Not my own) he was doing a con, and naturally had a long line. But he saw there was a kid in a wheelchair in line, so JDF let him cut in line and get a free autograph and picture.
The last time me and my wife got to meet JDF was back in 2021 during the covid years. During this time we were expecting our first child and we were having some difficulties in coming up with a clever way to present our pregnancy with family and friends. We asked him if he wouldn't mind being part of our presentation picture and he said he was on board. So we took a picture of us holding up the pregnancy test and him in the back holding up our child size Green ranger figure. After the picture he was so nice enough to give us some extra autographs and dog tags. Our family will forever miss this amazing person. ❤
I remember waiting in line to meet him at PMC 2010 on day one. Got his autograph on a couple things. On day two, sat in his panel and loved it. At the end of the panel, he had to go. At the time, I was smoking cigarettes and went out to the parking lot to grab a smoke. I happened to be wearing a home made dragon shield while I was smoking. Him and his family walked out to the parking lot to leave, and he saw me smoking. He told his wife, "Get his camera, and get a picture of us together." I was so bummed no one saw what just happened, but at the same time, I was just so happy to have a one on one with him. He did a silly pose with me and grabbed one of my unlit cigarettes. It was just awesome.
I sadly never got to meet JDF in person, but my favorite memory of the character Tommy was actually in Super Megaforce, when he appeared in the finale, before watching Super Megaforce I watched the original MMPR so I had Tommy fresh on my mind (keep in mind I was still a kid, around 7), and seeing the same hero I knew all grown up and still kicking ass was the coolest thing ever Rest in peace to the legend JDF 💚🤍♥️🖤
I was a huge Power Rangers fan as a kid, and Tommy as Green Ranger is always instant nostalgia, but I fell away from the series around the time Lost Galaxy dropped, seeing as I was in High School around that time. But it was Tommy returning for Dino Thunder as Dr. O, that made me have to start watching the show again. So I'd have to say my favorite moment would be when Tommy got that black Dino gem and said his famous line "I may be old, but I can still pull it off" then became the black Dinothunder Ranger. It's such an iconic moment.
One of my favorite moments with Tommy is when he first appeared as the White Ranger, took off his helmet. Kimberly even fainted, and the rest of the Rangers were completely stunned.
Never got to meet him unfortunately but one Tommy Oliver moment I’ll never forget was seeing him pop back up during Dino Thunder! I was 7 years old when I started watching DT and seeing Tommy come back as a mentor to the new generation was so awesome and seeing him become the black Brachio ranger for the first time was a top moment for me in the Power Ranger franchise!
Never was able to meet JDF, but always wanted to. Always had him as a person who I looked up to in life. Favorite moment was when he was evil and then became part of the team!
My favorite Tommy story is seeing him come back in Dino Thunder! I loved seeing him as a mentor and training the new team of rangers! It was different side of him that I truly enjoyed seeing!
Think one of my favourite JDF Tommy moment was in Dino Thunder episode fighting spirit when he faces his past ranger forms ❤🤍💚 Also got to love the scene in Dino Thunder when he kicks a T-Rex 😄👍
Tommy Oliver has so many epic moments, but nothing tops his first appearance as the Green Ranger! When he fought all the Rangers at once and took over the Megazord absolute legend. From villain to hero, he's always been the heart of the team. Forever the GOAT! 🐐💚
I met JDF twice over the years. Both great interactions and I wish I saw him the last time he came around right before the worst day ever. 😢 Shoutout to Patrick Sky for keeping the Tommy legacy alive and even bringing it into the future 🤘🏻💚🐉
Favorite Tommy Oliver moment was when he returned as the White Ranger. I remember it so vividly and being so happily surprised JDF returned to the series.
Never will forget collectively losing my mind with my college dorm mates watching the premiere of Dino Thunder and seeing JDF back. Favorite moment is him defeating the Rangers singlehandedly in the Green with Evil arc.
I got to meet JDF at FanX in 2018 during the 25th anniversary. Me and a buddy got a picture together along with AJJ. It was the best day and if there was something about Tommy was that his arc in the franchise was all about second chances. He was given a second chance at doing something good beginning as the green ranger and then becoming the white ranger. I truly believe that when other rangers call him a legend not only by the various colors but just how much growth he portrayed.
I never got a chance to meet him either but I followed him on socials and every time he would go live I enjoyed interacting with him it made me feel like a friend
JDF was my first Power Rangers autograph. I brought 5 figures and one of them was the metallic white ranger that I ordered from overseas. As he was signing it, he looked at it for a few seconds and said "is this new?". That is probably my favourite action figure in my collection.
I grew up watching MMPR after school and on Saturday mornings and even saw them in person and in costume when they came to Texas years ago for a live action show tour. That is something I will cherish for the rest of my life. Unfortunately, I didn't get the opportunity to meet or train with JDF before he passed away forever, and now I'll never have the opportunity to learn karate from the legend himself. This just SUCKS that he's not here to teach me karate. GOODBYE DAN JDF RIP LEGEND AND AND THANK YOU FOR MAKING MMPR THE BEST BEST AWESOME SHOW EVER!
My fav Tommy moment, is actually when he was evil and got giant I thought that was so dope. My fav JDF moment we actually running into Tammy Oliver before PMC, letting her know how much her husband meant to me growing up and taking a picture with her. Then I met Patrick also he’s pretty dope also I told him JDF would be proud of the work he’s doing….🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽LND Rest up JDF
I met jdf at chicago comic con. I missed him in the green ranger suit as lines and travel from one side of the building to the other I couldn't make it to his line. It was for Saturday. He came back on Sunday that year on the white ranger suit. I told him what happened. Security said it was up to him. He said of course, come on up. He was so nice and great. An hour later he had a free karate training. He rembered me and picked me to spar with him for the session and be his guinea pig of showing how to do moves. Made my day and was a highlight of my life. Such a great guy who cared. Saw him again in des moines 2 years later and he remembered me and was so nice to me and caring. He signed my figure, a picture of him and a promo card. He was the best.
My favourite JDF moment will have to be when he was in The toy hunter tv show i never forget when i saw him in it. An awesome moment in my childhood. One of my favourite shows having my idol in was awesome.
My favorite memory is when I was a kid and just started watching power ranger. I watched the first power ranger movie and loved every minute of it. My favorite memories of Tommy waking up early in the morning before school and watching the green with evil stories arc. I sat there wanting to know how it ends, having known he became a good guy however didn't know the beginning of it all. Seeing him join the team after Rita spell was broke was awesome and I loved everything moment of it. Showing regret on what he was forced to do and then acceptance by his friends. Seeing him decide to become a hero with the other ranger is one reason I love watching the shows even more. From seeing his origins, I Come to love knowing how he later becomes a even greater ranger I see him as in the other episodes I seen him.
My favorite Tommy Oliver moment is this double episode when he goes from the green ranger to the white ranger. He is the ranger who knows how to unite and unite. A unique bond among the Power Rangers. Thanks
Sadly I never got the chance to meet him but after talking with his daughter she on Facebook telling me how great of a dad he was and a huge role model he was and always will be to his fans is the best thing we could all ask for. I have a piece of artwork to give his family that I never got to present to him and hope it's a great homage to his memory.
My favorite moment was when tommy showed up with the master morpher and showed his powers weren't lost entirely. Jdf was inspirational even outside of power rangers. His death was the first death that i actually cried over. I cried all day
I met JDF a few years ago, at my local comic book store, it was amazing, I felt like I was five years old again , I told him how he got into karate as an kid
my favorite tommy oliver moments were always when he'd be ready to fight regardless of the terrible cards he's being dealt, whether it was steadily losing his green ranger powers or being trapped in his suit in Dino Thunder, always great to show kids and people overall how to persevere through very personal tough times in life.
I never got the pleasure of meeting him. But one of my favorite projects he did was almost 10 years ago. He was on a youtube series Super Power Beat Down episode 15.
My wife at the time won me and her tickets to Dallas comic con like ten years ago. She kept it a secret from me and surprised me with it. I was awe struck and practically mute when I met him, but Bev got our son (who she was pregnant with at the time) a signed piece of art from him. I got a picture with the man. He was my hero, as I'm sure he was to many others. P.S. I'm glad Patrick is doing stuff like this. Hasbro has dropped the ball but it's refreshing to see some fans picking it up.
My favorite moment with JDF was having a private meeting with him as an exclusive VIP privilege at wizard world. It’s was in a room with perhaps 10 of us. You could ask him about anything and he would give us some stories about other events that he been to. Miss him so much!😢🙏
Favorite Tommy moment would be when he barely has any more Green Ranger power and used what he has left to get their power coins and the Dragon Dagger back. He always did what he could do save his friends!
Personally my favorite tommy moment is from the 1995 movie when the goo guys attack and Tommy responds by grabbing a bar to beat them with before hitting everyone with a Freddy Krueger line
Having a favorite JDF moment is such a hard thing to narrow down but his contacts addressed just to the fans in general of hope and love always made me feels like I had the man himself on my side.
During a signing a few months before he was gone, I took my Do You Pooh Legend of the White Pooh which is a parody of his up coming movie. He stopped the line an announced that you know you really made when they start making books about you when they haven't released yet. He was so excited he signed it for free. This book is only 1 of 5 with metal cover, and the ONLY One signed by him. It's my most treasured possession. I even got a hold of the artist and purchased the original art.
Can my favorite Tommy moment be when i met JDF in 2013? After the Boston marathon bombing they canceled Boston Comic Con. Jason came anyways and made it a free event. He picked up my daughter for a picture and she was 3 at the time & the BIGGEST Tommy fan! He was soo unbelievably kind, funny and generous with his fans. A moment that me and my daughter will cherish for the rest of our lives. But a great Tommy moment is when he saved Kimberly when she was taken from Lord Zedd and the bad guys were draining her power. Even had to allow lord Zedd to come in the command center and Tommy shower no fear. I think the episode was changing the zords season 3. RIP JDF it breaks my heart everyday that your not here. Jason was soo special and truly loved being our hero.
Also he took his time with every fan, didnt matter how long the line was. He gave us all the meeting your hero experience. Making jokes, being silly, complimenting the little things about us. He did not let a single person leave unless we were happy with our experience. Was truly one of a kind!❤
It was big Texas comicon and I had a green ranger car ready in box for him to sign…when I finally decided to go for it and get in line…I saw that the line was massive and didn’t want to miss out on the rest of the convention. So i ultimately ended up missing out on his autograph. However just being in his presence and seeing everyone else be happy, was really nice and cool to see
Never got to meet JDF sadly, but meeting Jenna and knowing how she is with fans. I can only imagine how he was for her to witness it growing up. Truly a legend.
He was!
Forever red is one of my favorite Tommy Moments
Classic!
Glad you got to meet him!
My wife and I met JDF in Lubbock, Texas, in August of 2022. It seemed as if everything was working against us for us not to meet him that day. But, thankfully, we did, and he couldn't have been more awesome! I'm glad we met him before that dark day.
I’m glad you did too!
When Tommy became the the white Power Ranger
He really did!

RIP JDF 💚
That’s a great story! Thank you for sharing
@@TheLegacyofNerd Thanks! Happy to share, don’t get much opportunity to talk about JDF these days. Thank YOU for fostering such a nice positive community on your channel, I love your content!
@@GaryA87thank you! I appreciate it! More than likely we will be reading this on the stream in November if you’re cool with it
I never got to meet JDF in real life but his character Tommy Oliver inspired me to fight my medical condition especially every time I’m admitted to the hospital. I’m battling Stage V Chronic Kidney Disease for 11 years now and there’s a plethora of complications that will plague you. Tommy’s positive outlook in life and encouraging others to be better inspired me to be brave and fight this disease.
Oh wow, positive energy to you!
He probably did!
Favorite Tommy Oliver moment was seeing him comeback for Dino Thunder and the reveal on Episode 1 blew my mind!! 💚
Right!
So many miss him for sure
Great memory! Thanks for sharing
Favorite moment is when I got to meet him in corpus christi tx in 2020.. unfortunately we had to keep our distance since the rise of covid at the time
I’m glad you still got to meet him though!
Never got to meet jdf but my amazing wife got me a cameo video of him wishing me happy birthday plus a tour of his personal collection
She’s the best!
The character Tommy Oliver has a ton of good moments. Green with Evil & Forever Red are some of my favorites to go back and watch.
They are staples!
My favorite Tommy Oliver moment is When He is Lord Drakkon so sad we didn't get that storyline in live action He would have been perfect for the season 2 episode of Power Rangers Ninja Steel Called Dimensions in Danger
Loved that episode!
@@TheLegacyofNerd me too!!
My fav memory of JDF is always the dino thunder one in which he fights his old ranger counterparts....one of my fav episodes in dino thunder.
Great episode!
I never met jdf myself, my husband did & he must have been & ment something special to him. The day he passed my hubby just sat & in silence that day. I'm sure he's missed by many more people like my husband
He definitely is
I remember when I was 5 years old my parents bought me JDF’s instructional Karate VHS. That kick started my martial arts interest. Now my son is starting to get into MMPR and we will sadly never get to meet him, but his memory lives on. RIP JDF.
Oh wow! Great story!
I remember the day JDF debuted as the black ranger in Dino Thunder Clear as day, having that 2 parter build up with him fighting his past rangers in his coma and then overcoming it and came back in black easily my fav tommy/ JDF moment :)
Yes!!!
Definitely!
R.I.P JDF!! 🤘🏻
Oh wow! Such a great moment!
When i met JDF in 2020 he signed my tattoo and we filmed a prank of him signing Jason Faunt's (Time Force Red) name instead of his own. When i met Jason Faunt last year he loved getting to hear that story as they had become like brothers over the years.
That’s an awesome one!
My favorite JDF moments were when I was in Atlanta, GA for rangerstop I met him at the airport accidentally when I bumped into him and when he came to my school for the dare program when I was 9 years old!
Oh that’s awesome!
Whoa pal this is so cool I wish it was an actual film or a special.
Patrick got it for us though! Remember to enter if you’re interested in the master Morpher!
Never met JDF but I know he was a very nice and good person wish I met him sooner before his passing he meant so much to me and I think he sent me luck because I found a Jason David Frank signed Funko pop going for 169 and I just think he sent me down some luck for it.
Oh wow. Great find!
My favorite tommy moments include kimberly like their first kiss when he lost his power it's very pure and we love them all this time later
Very sweet moment!
I was lucky enough to meet JDF in El Paso and in Albuquerque at a comic book store. I loved watching him on TV and meeting him in person. I can't believe it's been almost 3 years now. Lastly, we did the fusion dance in El Paso and it was fun. Lol.
You’re lucky!
My favorite JDF moment when he did a cameo for m b day. And JDF is the reason I’m pursuing martial arts at red dragon.
Oh wow that’s awesome!
I’m glad you got to meet him!
💚🤍🖤♥️
Tommy becoming the White Ranger is still one of the greatest childhood memories and moments on television. The man that played the Green and White Ranger was a hero in real life as well as in the show. RIP JDF.
Agreed!
Oh wow, thank you for sharing!
I wanted Leo Howard to play Tommy Oliver in the sequel with JDF to be his father as Tommy Sr.
Interesting! Make sure to enter if you’re interested in the master Morpher!
I hear this a lot from people that met him!
Thank you for sharing 🙏🏽
Todays my birthday and I find that I miss JDF everyday. I met him at a con a few years ago after my wife surprised me with convention tickets for my birthday! He was so genuine to meet in person and somehow I went from 30 years old back to 10 years old meeting my hero.
Happy Birthday!
@@TheLegacyofNerd thank you!!
I got to meet JDF at comicon scotland and got to told him he was my childhood hero and when he was told I was in the army he told me that I was a true hero and he was the most respectful and humble individual I have ever met. It was a true tragedy when we all lost such a wonderful man
Oh wow, thanks for sharing 🙏🏽
@TheLegacyofNerd yea I also have pictures with him that I can share
He taught us a lot for sure
I met JDF by a miracle of a chance. My friend gave me a ticket to a convention that he couldnt go to. After that, we went to a comic shop and they just happened to have an old 90s green ranger plush doll still in its packaging. I brought it to have signed. He hyped the line up that was waiting to meet him. Told people to take pictures. It was great. He even signed multiple things for free on some people AND took photos as well. It was a great and unforgettable moment for me.
Oh wow! Amazing memory!
@@TheLegacyofNerd thanks. I still have the picture I took with him. It was a great experience.

My favorite memory of JDF is when he became the green ranger the good one
Definitely a good one!
He was the reason I kept going in life. I didn't have the best childhood. Tommy and the team helped me escape only if for lil while from reality. I honestly don't care if I win or not that man changed and saved lives of so many. Thank you Jason Frank Rest in Paradise.
Thank you for sharing 🙏🏽
Having him sign my episode guide and figure when he attended Supanova Melbourne in 2014???.
I’m so lucky to have met him here in Australia
Dude that’s awesome!
Tommy’s transition from Green Ranger to White Ranger was pure epicness! The reveal, the power, the leadership it still gives me chills every time. Truly one of the most iconic moments in Power Rangers history! ⚡🤍💥
Agreed!
Amazing experience! Good to see you again here, it’s been a while!
💚🤍♥️🖤
I remember going to Comic Con excited to meet JDF and then he asked everyone if anyone wants to perform with him and I raised my hand quietly since I was wearing my marvel shirt, but his pointed at me, I pointed at myself and whispered “me” and he said yes, so I got up on stage with him to perform Jujitsu in front of the newer generation of fans and then after that I’ve met him at his both a couple of times after that and had a chance to talk to him. It was the best year and memory I could ever have.
Oh wow that’s awesome!
Thanks for sharing 🙏🏽
My favorite Tommy Oliver moment, since I was unable to meet JDF in person, is when he became the White Ranger in MMPR.
Love it!
I had the chance to meet him when I was hospitalized as a child back when he first started as Green Ranger. He did a visit at a park and my mother asked if he could do a surprise visit for me. Happiest day of my childhood life lol!!
Oh wow! Thanks for sharing 🙏🏽
Never met JDF but my favorite Tommy moment was watching him on screen with his real life brother during Zeo. Hopefully they are reunited and sharing stories together
Oh yea. That was great!
My favorite moment that I'll never forget was when JDF popped up as the white ranger! I remember that moment as a kid and I geeked out. He was always my favorite ranger!
Yes! White Light!
Always wanted to meet him but never got the chance, I just loved how Tommy was always there for his friends! It was also dope to see him take on the role of the leader with humbleness. 🤘🏻💪
He was awesome!
My favorite story of JDF (Not my own) he was doing a con, and naturally had a long line. But he saw there was a kid in a wheelchair in line, so JDF let him cut in line and get a free autograph and picture.
Sounds just like him!
Never met JDF but my favorite memories of him is watching all the videos of him online greeting fans
Love those!
I’m reading this on the livestream!
He told his wife, "Get his camera, and get a picture of us together."
I was so bummed no one saw what just happened, but at the same time, I was just so happy to have a one on one with him. He did a silly pose with me and grabbed one of my unlit cigarettes. It was just awesome.
Oh wow that’s so cool he did that!
I sadly never got to meet JDF in person, but my favorite memory of the character Tommy was actually in Super Megaforce, when he appeared in the finale, before watching Super Megaforce I watched the original MMPR so I had Tommy fresh on my mind (keep in mind I was still a kid, around 7), and seeing the same hero I knew all grown up and still kicking ass was the coolest thing ever
Rest in peace to the legend JDF 💚🤍♥️🖤
The Legendary Battle!
I feel that brought a lot of people that!
One of my favorite moments with Tommy is when he first appeared as the White Ranger, took off his helmet. Kimberly even fainted, and the rest of the Rangers were completely stunned.
Yes!
Great moment!
Never was able to meet JDF, but always wanted to. Always had him as a person who I looked up to in life. Favorite moment was when he was evil and then became part of the team!
Yes!
Meeting jdf at nycc years ago was the best moment ever
awesome!
My favorite Tommy story is seeing him come back in Dino Thunder! I loved seeing him as a mentor and training the new team of rangers! It was different side of him that I truly enjoyed seeing!
Loved him becoming the mentor!
Think one of my favourite JDF Tommy moment was in Dino Thunder episode fighting spirit when he faces his past ranger forms ❤🤍💚
Also got to love the scene in Dino Thunder when he kicks a T-Rex 😄👍
Yea those are awesome moments lol
My favorite memory was seeing JDF back in Dino Thunder when I was 6 years old
Awesome!
Tommy Oliver has so many epic moments, but nothing tops his first appearance as the Green Ranger! When he fought all the Rangers at once and took over the Megazord absolute legend. From villain to hero, he's always been the heart of the team. Forever the GOAT! 🐐💚
Of course!
My favorite Tommy moment was when he gave the rangers the business for 5 full episodes lol
He did lol
I met JDF twice over the years. Both great interactions and I wish I saw him the last time he came around right before the worst day ever. 😢
Shoutout to Patrick Sky for keeping the Tommy legacy alive and even bringing it into the future 🤘🏻💚🐉
Patrick is awesome!
Favorite Tommy Oliver moment was when he returned as the White Ranger. I remember it so vividly and being so happily surprised JDF returned to the series.
Yes!
Sadly I never got to meet Jason, but my favorite Tommy Oliver moment was when he returned as the white ranger. I was so happy to see him come back 💚
Yes!
Never will forget collectively losing my mind with my college dorm mates watching the premiere of Dino Thunder and seeing JDF back. Favorite moment is him defeating the Rangers singlehandedly in the Green with Evil arc.
Yes!
Yea he was awesome like that!
JDF was my first Power Rangers autograph. I brought 5 figures and one of them was the metallic white ranger that I ordered from overseas. As he was signing it, he looked at it for a few seconds and said "is this new?". That is probably my favourite action figure in my collection.
Oh wow! That’s awesome!
He was awesome!
He did get giant!
My another favorite moment of Tommy is when fights goldar as plain old Tommy and sends goldar twirling into space with a device
Awesome!
Oh wow! Such a great experience!
@@TheLegacyofNerd yes it was both times I met him. He really cared for fans.
My favourite Tommy moment was when he actually entered the Dragonzord cockpit.
Yes!
My favourite JDF moment will have to be when he was in The toy hunter tv show i never forget when i saw him in it. An awesome moment in my childhood. One of my favourite shows having my idol in was awesome.
I don’t think I ever saw that one!
Thanks for sharing!

Thank you legacy for a great review! Looking forward to joining in on stream next month!
You’re doing great work!
My favorite Tommy Oliver moment is this double episode when he goes from the green ranger to the white ranger. He is the ranger who knows how to unite and unite. A unique bond among the Power Rangers.
Thanks
Yes!
Oh wow that’s awesome!
My favorite moment was when tommy showed up with the master morpher and showed his powers weren't lost entirely. Jdf was inspirational even outside of power rangers. His death was the first death that i actually cried over. I cried all day
Yes!
I met JDF a few years ago, at my local comic book store, it was amazing, I felt like I was five years old again , I told him how he got into karate as an kid
Thanks for sharing!
my favorite tommy oliver moments were always when he'd be ready to fight regardless of the terrible cards he's being dealt, whether it was steadily losing his green ranger powers or being trapped in his suit in Dino Thunder, always great to show kids and people overall how to persevere through very personal tough times in life.
My favorite moments were the videos that JDF did with kids at his appearances at comic shops. He was so great with all his fans 😢
Oh yea, he was the best!
I never got the pleasure of meeting him. But one of my favorite projects he did was almost 10 years ago. He was on a youtube series Super Power Beat Down episode 15.
Yes! Love the suit redesigns!
Glad you got to meet him! And yea, Patrick is awesome!
My favorite moment with JDF was having a private meeting with him as an exclusive VIP privilege at wizard world. It’s was in a room with perhaps 10 of us. You could ask him about anything and he would give us some stories about other events that he been to. Miss him so much!😢🙏
Oh wow you’re lucky!
Favorite Tommy moment would be when he barely has any more Green Ranger power and used what he has left to get their power coins and the Dragon Dagger back. He always did what he could do save his friends!
Loved that part!
Personally my favorite tommy moment is from the 1995 movie when the goo guys attack and Tommy responds by grabbing a bar to beat them with before hitting everyone with a Freddy Krueger line
😂
Wow that’s awesome! When we get closer to the livestream, send it in and we can show it off if you like!
Favorite Moment was Tommy being revealed as the White Ranger!
Yes!
Wow what an amazing story!
It was big Texas comicon and I had a green ranger car ready in box for him to sign…when I finally decided to go for it and get in line…I saw that the line was massive and didn’t want to miss out on the rest of the convention. So i ultimately ended up missing out on his autograph. However just being in his presence and seeing everyone else be happy, was really nice and cool to see
I almost went to that one also, sad I didn’t
