Best Friend(3rd stooge) chiming in......can't even talk about how much I love these two and how proud I am of them. They have been superstars in navigating moving from friendship to partnership. I was so happy to be there to witness the development of this relationship(even though I wasn't for it at the beginning) lol
Thank you Sampson for highlighting this beautiful and handsome Black Brothers couple. I did not want this interview to end. Best friend to spouse/husband seemed so organic for these guys. They were honest and vulnerable with each other. I love their energy and chemistry. It felt strong and lovely on my end. I wrote down some of their nuggets to help me navigate dating again. There is nothing like Black on Black Love. I wish all the best for these guys. Peace & Blessings So happy that they live in my home state NY. I am a native NYer from Queens!!!!
As a black gay man, I LOVE THIS!!! KEEP IT COMING SAMPSON! I LOVE YOU 💯 PERCENT DEARLY AND MY BROTHER'S IN THE INTERVIEW!!! SUCH A LOVELY COUPLE!; HUSBAND AND HUSBAND!!!💯💯💯🖤💪💪
Sampson, I always look forward to these interviews; they are always so insightful and wonderfully display what true love between black gay men can be. Thank you, Sampson, and keep on doing what you do! As an aside, I do so admire and am impressed at how well Antwuan is able to chronical he and Jerrell's relationship.
I hate those heteronormative questions to gay people. Who's the man and who's the woman? Miss us with all that! Good conversation, again! Thanks, Sampson, Jerrell and Antwuan!
I love this unique couple, great interview. From a great friendship to a loving relationship. One of MY FAVORITE'S and very informative. YOU ALL MAKE IT A GREAT PRIDE MONTH!!! 💙🌈💙🌈💙🌈💙🌈💙
Black slave men were used against each other by the slavery system, the slave owners, holders, sellers and masters. They were pitted against each other in vicious battles till near death or death. This was how to divide and control them. Boxing is a vestige of that era. Now two black men loving each other is a revolutionary indeed because they are supposed to hate each other and kill each other.
look, black people in America have been taught to love the white man more than we love ourselves period. That is wny so many white and black reltionships are problematical despite our best efforts and intentions, and that is why in this present world in which we exist black on black love is so important. Maybe is some future society that is color blind ,if we ever reach that level, it might not be as important, but right now ,at this moment in time, It is of paramount importance.
I had a best boy friend. I was taught to never cross that line. He made a proposal one time I declined slept with the pillow between us all that night. He was living in another city at that time. I think the relationship changed on his end. But he was my besty . Even though we where jo buddies never any touching. Maybe he had feelings I wonder. He passed years ago so I will never know.
@sampson Hello. I was wondering if you knew the percentage of couples that you've interviewed were in some level of open relationships? I've been told that my preference for monogamy is me holding on to heteronormative ideals so I'm curious to know just how much i am in the minority. 😬
I guess I'm on the right page with your question and comment when I say that discussing a disagreement could be considered an argument. I guess it's who's defining what they feel constitutes an argument. Maybe they've never raised their voice, called each other something bad or tried to provoke each other to anger to fight (physically and/or verbally) when they say they never had an argument.
@@MidtownATLRobby I guess to deep for me. Can't really analyze it. But yes u are on the right page Dr. Lawd I need a glass of wine 🥺 and a cigar after all that.
Well maybe you would not date THAT paticular best friend, but there might come a time when you would date a best friend. That is just what I am talking about in gay life. We separate friendships from a relationship and that is one reason so many of us are alone period
let's face it, in gay life often it is about the sex, because so many of us are emotionlly immature. In reality the basis for any good relatioships is frendship to begin with. If you cannot be friends, the relationships does not have a chance. It is too bad so many of us do not understand that. And we keep looking for the most sexually stimulating relationship, sad
Brother's you are blessed by God and love by God this is so beautiful happy to be in love you are sexy handsome looking black Brothers be happy love your life and you are love by God my Brother.💗💙💗💙💗💖💙💖💕💕💕💕💞💞💞💞💞💞💙
