Hello again Sampson, you will never begin to know how incredibly important your interviews are! I always look forward to and am inspired by the couples you feature. To know that there are actually black men out there who seek and are able to find other black men who are willing to engage in loving, committed and meaningful relationships gives me unspeakable joy and hope!! Again, I say, keep on doing what you do and may God continue to bless the union of David and Tony.......😍😍
Another great conversation/interview. Deeply moving. The revolutionary act of co-authoring your own (love) story, inventing your own rules and reaching self-knowledge together... and having such empowering mutual respect... loved this video... thank you...
Thank you again Sampson for highlighting this and other beautiful and brilliant (Black & Brown Brothers). Relationships (platonic or intimate) are not easy to manage. Communication and compromise are important factors in all interactions. I am so proud of these guys being intentional and persistent in maintaining their marriage and relationship. This interview was real talk. When David talked about calling his best friend and stating “Bitch,…..” reminded me of a dear friend of mine when we would talk among ourselves. I wish Tony & David many more happy and healthy years together!!! They are another source/example of Black on Black Love. They give me life, hope and Black Joy and Love. Thank you again Guys for doing the damn thing!!!
All love matters equally and should be embraced by leading by example. Sampson you are doing what we (gay black men) need the most, the story sharing of professional and inspirational role models.
It is refreshing to see this. Everyone doesn’t have this ending. I pursued my ex this way and face some of the same challenges and he NEVER got over the hump. Instead of opening up, he put the door all further up and it ended homing a very toxic draining situation. After 3 years we had to end it. I learned you have to be persistent with the RIGHT PERSON
I'm a gay man living in a country that still have anti-gay laws that could get me imprisoned. Its tough but we manage, ive been in a relationship with a guy now for 6 years on and off. My family knows my partner as my "former classmate" . I enjoy watching your videos. To be honest, I have learnt a lot from them. For a gay man in a situation like mine its tough for us to get to a point where we accept ourselves, know how to love another man or even how to receive love. I get to learn a lot . Thanks
I write narratives too. We used to call it Magical thinking. What is so powerful is “I can not know until I am told what it is!” When I get there, that will be mad growth!,
A different version of the same affirming, up-lifting story of realistic love and compromise. I applaud you @sampsonmccormick for choosing to highlight stories of Black Gay love,
It’s interesting to see that within a relation it’s domestic everyday ordinaire things that can become serious issues. I wonder what psychology is behind that. Wanting to be with that person yet at the same time suddenly hold ground in defending one’s individuality and even territory while basically within a relation these should like a puzzle fit into eachother becoming a two-some unity. The two year long ‘paring dance’ intriges me. It’s good but it’s hardly ever seen within Gay lifestyle. I like it. Have a good future.
We were always here loving each other and now we have made it imperative whether they like it not to love our black same gender loving selves publicly. ❤❤❤ Thank you all for the continuous reminder. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ This platform is absolutely needed.
Very early in David's explanation of how he was as they were meeting each other, all I could think was this damned Virgo, then he confirmed it, lmao!!! And I'm pissed that Tony never said his sign. I went right over to IG to search for a B-day celebration picture and wouldn't you know it...private page! SMDH, ha. Would he be a Pisces by any chance. But anyway, I enjoyed their story. I wish them very long term happiness.
The self awareness that they both have and their ability to articulate those points are simply beautiful!
“We were always here”…says it ALL! Short and simple. Yet heavy with meanings! Loved it! 🫶🏾
I always enjoy these videos Sampson. Thank you
Thank you for watching and enjoying.

Sending positive thoughts and lots of love your way. I’m glad you’re watching and learning. You are appreciated, stay safe and well.
I love Tony & Dr. David. So glad you captured their story!
Sampson you should do a documentary on the gay couples that you interview or write a book.
A partnership is very important. One day for me I still believe it is possible!
Love them as a couple. I really wanted to hear their unconventional proposal story. Maybe you can do a follow up interview.
This is very funny!! Keep him away from me!! A friend of mine had a similar experience and end up married to that same person!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That's how it happens, sometimes!

Hello David and Tony, continued love and happiness especially in today's F'd up US.
We were always here loving each other and now we have made it imperative whether they like it not to love our black same gender loving selves publicly. ❤❤❤
