Love, love, LOVE these stories! Thank you so much for sharing these with the world. What you and “Craig the Writer” are doing is fantastic. As one who’s been blessed to be in an 18-year relationship (both black men), it’s so encouraging, inspiring, and refreshing to see and know there are more of us out there trying to build a happy life together. And, it’s also great to see the many similarities we share in our stories and relationships. ❤️👍🏾
My guy went to Alfred Street Baptist Church! The series he’s referencing is “Can I push it” That thing was the beginning to me coming out to myself. I watched it in mid 2022 and by Feb 2023. I accepted myself fully as a black gay Christian man! Finally the inner turmoil was done Bravo to this interview
I Love the black gay friends couple comment, it's so important again to see you're not alone, that you have some of the same issues and how others navigate different situations together.
I met Vincent over a decade ago and he literally sacrificed his precious car to attempt to teach me how to drive manual. Obviously I failed miserably at it. But ever since that day I’ve been rooting for him in ALL of his ventures, including finding the love of his life. He and Derrick are goals frfr. He deserves everything good, especially love.
Sampson you need to get an award for this important needed welcoming one of a kind series with these wonderful brothers and couples. Love this so much.
This was a very informative interview. I hope for nothing but love and happiness for this couple. Enjoyed this from beginning to end. Keep up with the great vids and wishing al peace LOVE and soul.
Thank you Sampson, you have done it again!! Congratulations Vincent & Derrick for being together for 6 years and married for over 6 months. Many continued blessings. There are so many nuggets that they shared e.g. dating coach, financial advisor, communication and compromise. I know the church where they are a member, because I am a member of that large congregation as well. I love and respect our spiritual leader. One of our mottos is that we do love God, we don’t have to leave our intellect (brain) at the door. Our Pastor surrounds himself around other scholarly philosophers (teachers and preachers). “Seminary Saturdays” series are very educational and needed in all churches (laity and leaders). We all have the teaching and student capacity inside of us. Their testimony and experience give Me Life and Hope!! God is truly Able and Amazing!! Excuse my lengthy response. Sampson, please keep doing what you do. It is needed and our stories/experiences Matters. BLM & Black Guys Joy!!!!
What a great interview. Derrick & Vincent you were both so authentic. I appreciate you sharing your story with us. Thank you Sampson for another awesome couple & conversation!
Wow! This was a very interesting interview of this wonderful couple. It would be nice to have additional footage of these two as they stood or walked that I may examine they're physique!🤣🤣🤣🤣
I know exactly where Lima is located. I taught music at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio for ten years until I moved to Chicago three years ago.

Great vlog guys. Your a only child u have to adopt give mom a Grand baby. Oh , oh God did make Adam and Steve. Adam was put to sleep and here come's eve Lawd the House keeper. Listen hon we had a dinner party yes steady could u clean up this mess.
Great podcast and very educational too. Not that I'm married to my partner of 27 years (interracial), my biggest fear is that SCOTUS Alito will get his wish and outlaw Gay marriage. Sorry to be political, I guess keep your friends close but your enemies closer.
For me as a European, Dutch, very interesting. Americans, perhaps due to lot less social government interference, are used to put up organizations for all ‘tribes’ of people. Like in this case the private Gay groups they found ‘refuge’ and understanding in. This social entrepreneurship is in the vain’s of American society and might make it easier to become part of a social, in this case Gay, group. I stayed in NYC early ‘80ties a couple of times for several months each and friends took me to a Jewish, my then boyfriend was Israeli, and Catholic Gay group and church service. Unheard of then and now in the Netherlands. Another thing i found typical American and very wise is the relationship counseling. We Euro trash tend to smirk about Yanks not talking to friends about their problems, of course they do, but to run to a shrink. You people are right though. It many times needs an outside eye to see what’s needed that the couple involved due emotion and self involvement find hard. Why risk an in itself beautiful relation with ‘domestic’ issues you yourself find hard to negotiate. Their second meeting with their 10am till 5pm soul touching conversation seems to be the basis of this relation. So nice to hear and how they work together. I’m happy for them and being a single 66 year old envy them. Wish them all the best. I’m going to send this and channel prescription to a young Ethiopian friend of mine who is settling in Washington soon. He, coming from an extremely homophobic society can’t wait to taste freedom in all fields. I just hope that at 27 and very virile he will not fall and get cynical from the ‘scene’ these lovely men warn us about. There, thanks God and many Gay men, are other, perhaps less visible and therefore not seen as also ‘typical Gay’, ways to live life being not a hetero but coincidental homo male. Bless this channel. Says i a white man. (I have been criticized already for even watching this channel for that reason. Polarized west).
Please don’t ever stop these Sampson❤️
Agreed! These videos inspire me to keep on staying strong with my beautiful life partner always! Black gay love is so beautiful and precious!!!!

I like that you showcase black gay love in a positive light….it’s time that black men are shown in a meaningful way. Never stop what you are doing.
@@dw6080 Yeah black men don't do well in relationships wether it's straight or gay. They ho around get caught and just won't act right sad.
And the partner is the last to know.Becaues u trust this person..
