All signs are pointing them to having a gay ass octane/ hard rock album that shows zero personality. This songs okay but it’s still kinda gay imo
This song was a good blend of the then and now parts of them. It showed maturity but it showed force. Idk, hoping the rest is good.
This is the better direction. I'm a little sad. I haven't been overly disappointed in them too much but just another bad direction is saddening. I remember seeing their upbringing. 20 people in the crowd at the time. Seeing them grow huge and what music made them huge then they get big and it takes a huge turn 😢

In 2007 I played with these guys in Oklahoma and sat with Jeremy after the show. He was sitting and relaxing and I took my chance. I sat with him and asked how we did. He said I had a good scream. I always remembered he was so focused but polite, yet he was clearly thinking lyrics and the future…. We had opened for them before and that was the time when fans ran onto the stage and jumped on his back etc. They still had a small van and tailer and I wouldn’t have known, neither would they, how big they’d be soon after. I had opened for them 3 times by then and they were then a touring band that came around and sold 500 tickets and we were the band that could sell 100 to be their opener. Then ‘Homesick’ came out and the whole world changed. They were ADTR. I’m now a 35 year old that still loves them. I saw them in a van in a tiny town of Oklahoma. They worked for it. ADTR!

We were called ‘Theory of Tomorrow’. Nothing to write home about. We were signed with the local rock radio station and had a little run but sadly, life happened to us all. Now I’m just old and remembering the good days and awesome music!

14 years ago, I was in 7th grade. I heard The Plot To Bomb The Panhandle and fell in love with metalcore. It played on my MySpace page and I was obsessed. 14 years later they’re still making bangers. ADTR will always be my favorite band.

The last album wasn't as bad as ppl make it seem. The problem is that the 3 best songs on it were released like a full year before it even came out, so when the last bunch of songs came out it made it way more underwhelming

Easily, one of my most favorite songs of this year, and it BLOWS almost everything else out of the water. The double breakdown, alone, makes this song worth it.

I remember when I first heard Jeremy’s voice. Commercial for the Homesick album on Fuel TV. I thought his voice was so cool. Fast forward 12 years and they are still giving me what I didn’t know I need. Thanks ADTR!
I found them through a commercial for the homesick album, that played on adult swim for a bit way back then. It got me hooked on one song, and Ive been a fan of them ever sense. Hit or miss, specially on the last album, but when they release a song like this, it really hits hard, and sticks with me. So sometimes less quantity, but more quality.

Been a ADTR fan since i first heard the danger in starting a fire many years ago and it's been so long that i had children and my son listens to ADTR now. Nothing fills my heart more than knowing this band is still thriving a generation later and me and my son can enjoy them together!
My son got me back into ADTR. We were talking about I Prevails new songs and he told me to check this song out. Loving it, great jam. Loving lots of the new tunes and bands coming out lately, some truly stellar music!

I listen to you guys every day and I’ll be honest, I didn’t know if there would be any more music coming from you guys soon. I started listening to you in high school. After almost dying in April 2023, I listen to this song & Resentment over & over. Both remind me of how you have to push yourself hard to get back up when you're down.
I feel you on that. In August of 2022, I had a surgery go wrong and they couldn't find my appendix. Turns out my organs were so swollen my appendix was near my colon and spine. I was almost paralyzed and would have needed a bag if they made a mistake. They took so long my body suffered so much trauma that it gave out and didn't know if they could bring me back. My intestines were detached from the abdominal wall so moving around was difficult but I fought each day and kept moving. Be thankful and don't take it for granted. Bust your ass get to your goal. Things can suddenly change at any given time.

They pimp a heavy song or two to bring people in then it's hey hello here's the pop. They might even be doing that again here with this song who knows. But this is the best shit they've put out since idk how long. It's better than the last album for sure.

I've been listening to ADTR since my midschool teenage era (2007), and forever will be one of the bands that most influenced me. I confess that I was a little bit disapointed with their last album, not only because it's tremendously weak compared to their best albums, but mainly because I know that they didn't reach the top of their creativity making dynamic compositions as we see in Common Courtesy for example. But here you can see what they're capable of: Good Riffs, excelent sense of rythm, catchy chorus, heavy breakdowns and all the elements that made them be one of the most remarkable post hardcore bands (at least for me). Song is fire ! Love it!

Except I don't think it was their fault at least not fully I think adtr just wanted to do a more pop punk album. Like the year prior all time low release their best album under Raman. So I think they partially leaned then that direction but not 100%

We just started releasing our own music at the beginning of this year. I know that ADTR may not see this but I truly wanted to go around and express just how much you guys have influenced my music and passion. I'm so grateful for this music. Feels like the old days with a new twist. Man, I love this band...they are my favorite for a reason. The chorus was glorious, and that breakdown made me breakdown! Shout out to ADTR for keeping it real, and to their label for being about it! This stuff bangs!

And their best records are all personal taste. Some people put Treason first, some FTWHH, Homesick, What Seperates, CC, Bad Vibes. Everyone has their own opinions. I'm not sure I've seen anyone put You're Welcome at #1 but I'm sure they exist.

The second part of the breakdown is so amazing. Absolutely stunning. It's not heavy it's super heavy and groovy.
I was asked to play some music during Christmas, and I played this song first. Folks didn't like it. Oh well. I think it's better than Jingle Bells but that just me.

@@nathanielcava4128 me neither. I enjoyed it for its since of Pop Punk mixed with Metalcore as well as some mainstream radio metal influences in there. But again ADTR is radio metal so yeah.
