Thank you -- I have an Orba 2 and this helped. I think especially the bit about it being in a locked state where you need to turn it off by holding volume down and power to actually turn it off...

I didn't understand your whatever you were doing there. My orba is dead now 😢 doesn't turn on anymore, just blacked out, thx a lot.

I wrote them cause mine won’t update firmware also and they wrote back sorry you are out the 1 yr warranty thanks artiphon 🤦‍♂️
