Sammy King Gigi really lost weight, and she finally improves on her walk. As I saw her at VS I was literally shocked! Such an amazing, filigrane and graceful woman. I didn't like her, but she's so gorgeous now!
I agree. Gigi has really improved while I'm still unimpressed by Kendall. Bella was just bad.
Kendall at 14:00 .. And agree about gigi and bella, way too overrated. So many models are prettier and walk down the runway better than they do.

probably one of the most enjoyable fashion shows i've ever watched tbh the models were so relaxed and the whole atmosphere was chill and also what were the songs used ?? the music also made me enjoy watching the show
The music was great. The main song that the show started and ended with was "Clouds Across the Moon," by The RAH Band (1985). And it also featured "Putting on the Ritz," by Taco (1982). There was another song in there that sounded like it may have been the RAH Band as well, but I didn't recognize it.

I like this presentation. The set staged like the type of place where these clothes might actually be worn. The models looking so relaxed was a breath of fresh air. Lovely.

The shame is that THIS is the exact sort of show that Gigi, Bella and Kendall really could have benefitted from. They have this image of being rigid and awkward on the runway despite their obvious beauty. They really could have done with a runway where they didn't need to try and be fierce, but instead just be endearing young women, which is what they are and have the potential to be. Instead they just flop constantly because they're too busy trying to be the Naomi's and Gisele's of their generation.
I just want to shake them and tell them they have a brand and a style of beauty that's different to other generations, so they should embrace that more than trying to be models they aren't. They're not bad models, they're just not natural a lot of the time.

Seeing Franca makes appear a smile on my face... she was ill, but still she went to the Ritz to support Karl. Such a strong and inspiring woman, truly a blessing to the fashion world. This comment may look inappropriate, but she deserves to be remembered forever. I love and miss you Franca, and I know I'm not the only one.

I thought the music from the beginning would be Electric Café hahah
this show was better than other collections Karl has presented. i really liked that the models were relaxed and didn't have a straight/serious face like in other fashion shows (not complaining though), the "dancers" were also a good to the relaxed atmosphere there, but i'm having mixed feelings about them, specially Pharell, he seemed a bit lost in the begining. over all it was a good collection.

Loved the set and whole atmosphere, but the collection was not that impressive. Personally, I feel that Karl keeps recycling old ideas for his collections. Not saying that it was bad, because the collection was, in fact, quite stunning. It's just that it doesn't feel refreshing.
This is a metiers d'art show to showcase the craft of the top ateliers than Chanel owns and works with not necessarily the latest 'trends'. This year Karl brought the show back to Paris instead of a location theme to cheer up and revive the city after many difficult months. The show was also inspired by the elegance of women who used to visit the Ritz hotel which is the 'set'.
The collection was pretty nice, the walk however was a bit cringe...

When models get to show their personality and be fun and act like young women (because that’s what they are) it makes the shows so much fresher and it makes the clothes seem a lot more wearable. Seeing these girls act like they would in real life convinces me that the clothing can be used in real life

J M D actually, I found her prettiest in her audition tape as a 15-yr-old wannabe model. I think she’s stunning, model or no model.
This show got me so pumped I just have to comment hahaha. Negative remarks first, disappointed at how the seating are making the whole scene very cramp and messy with no clear clearance the audience especially us watching videos. I like how the models are very lively and making this whole show bubbly and fun, but I am not too sure if I like them having too much interaction and dancing moves, it kinda makes the show a little bit less serious (as in lesser class? shit I dont know how to put this into words).
Positive remarks, this is actually really fun and interesting to watch, and I am really enjoying the styles of this season! I can imagine a lot of different personalities wearing the clothes at different occasions. They still have Chanel's elements in it, yet they make me feel a little bit refreshing and classy. Reminded me of the Chanel No.5 L'eau. Those are just my personal opinion, if you hate this show, it's fine I would like to know your opinion too, you might be seeing things that I did not see, clearly.
Overall this show makes me excited and happy hahaha. The previous time that I felt this delightful was watching the Kenzo Spring Summer 2017 hahaha.
