This is the best collection I have seen in years from Chanel. This is original Chanel and this show was so beautiful I could cry.. I almost did.. It was that beautiful, modest, feminine, rich, almost divine.
Mariacarla Boscono. Walking like a bad ass with a super beautiful elegant dress. That's more than amazing. Her walk and her face made the clothes even more interesting.
And this is truly a beautiful collection.

For the vast majority of showings, wow, wow, wow!! The fabrics and lines are so elegant and innovative and refined there are truly no adequate words!! Chanel is definitely on their game and has raised the bar big time!!

Comme disait Mademoiselle Coco j'ai voulue démultiplier mes robes à l'infini avec mur tapisser de glaces. Karl a très bien repris les mots de mademoiselle et à créer cette salle infinie. Le tweed lui aussi est très bien repris comme d'habitude. Bravo à Chanel

A truly beautiful collection. I love the way Karl can take a classic item and turn it on its head. The boots, Chanel's little hat, the string of pearls, the classics twin set turned into a dress and on and on. Remember when he embossed tights with print, everyone copied him. I have the luck of working around the corner from the New Bond Street store in London. I walk past the shop evey day. And go in to buy when I feel flush.

+JD Ishmael It's taken forever, but it looks like the fashion world has finally caught up. I was happily surprised when I viewed the first bunches of shows from NYFW. I've NEVER seen this much diversity throughout a good portion of the shows.
There's still a lot of issues the industry still needs to sort out regarding diversity, but at least there's finally some sound progress. I imagine this is going to make a lot of models of color wealthier. It's basically a new gold rush for the modeling industry.
I will forever call this the hunting bucket collection.
