How risky is new home buying? The 2.1M does that hold or is that a number that creeps up. Meaning to they suck you in with that number but it never holds?
That $2.1M would be a great house. When we tour new construction we are touring model homes that are always upgraded. This particular home is a semi-custom luxury home, the upgrades are going to be more than a traditional track home. Do I think it’s risky, not at all. @@JBRE I struggle with these model home tours .. 2.165 is this price of this model the way it is right??? including landscaping and pool and what not right? This does not include a lot? what other extras would you have to pay for besides the model?
@MrMikeMe great question! $2.165 is the base price of the floor plan prior to upgrades and lot a premium. As I have had this channel longer and produced more tour, I try to verbally provide the appropriate price (not determined until the builder actually places the model for sale). Most estimates are 10-20% in upgrades over base.
I don’t think anyone is afraid. Industry’s change. I’ve always referred to a secondary bedrooms as secondary bedroom, for me, referencing a primary to go with secondary make sense.
@@JBRE Literally every article written about the switch from master bedroom to primary bedroom talks about racism, negative connotations, the current feelings in America, etc. It is very clear that the RE industry is making this switch for fear of backlash and being canceled. The Houston Association of Realtors was the first to officially ban the term from their listings and others followed. People and more importantly, industries need to stop pandering to this nonsense. Not everything is racist or demeaning. Read Orwell and understand what the banning of words, thought police and fear of offending others gets you. Be polite, be professional, treat others how you want to be treated and stand your ground. Let the overly sensitive fizzle out.
i have looked at over 100 las vegas homes 100k - 4m and everyone has the most shitty ugly kitchens.. that is a dealbreaker... tucson.. scottsdale has the best itchens that SW cowboy / indian style... also want a garage for 40 plus cars or big house with land to build garagee...
