Suzuki TU250X front sprocket swap

I swapped the stock 15 tooth sprocket for a 16 tooth sprocket on my wife's 2012 Suzuki TU250X, hoping to make the gearing just a bit taller. I have read that it only increases the gearing by 6.7%.
This bike is only ridden around town. It has never been on the freeway, and it probably will NEVER be on the freeway. This test was only done with in-town riding in mind.
