I think Coke should be complemented for this entire series on how the company works. I've said it elsewhere (on the Have A Coke and A Smile 1970s th-cam.com/video/pAYFJf-12KY/w-d-xo.html still my favorite Coke spot) that university marketing professors could make a whole semester in just looking at and anaylzing why this company's marketing works. That the company has opened itself up in this fashion I think should be applauded. No matter what business someone is in, I think people can learn lessons about how and why good marketing works.
Often this product placement is way too obvious and not organic at all (unless you work for Coke)! Check out the weird “there are Cokes in the cooler” bit in ‘Tomorrowland”! WTF!?! Whenever I notice one of these, I make a mental note to NOT have a Coke.
