The prices rises outstripped their quality, service and in many cases their designs. Vintage lux bags are a better value for money IMHO and if you want new like I am looking to buy, I prefer the incredible value to be found in the under the radar brands you feature. Your channel has saved me thousands of dollars and buyers remorse.
This was a great analysis and presentation on your part! I suppose it's not at all surprising that more and more people are fed up with mainstream luxury brands. Thank you for introducing us to LeTrange as well, definitely on my list for next Paris trip. Just sitting over here in my "blue" city trying to catch up on TH-cam videos after America came apart at the seams 🤷🏻♀ Thank you for the fun distractions, as always! 😘
Hi Anesu, thank you so much for your content. You have enlightened me to other brands. Although I have many brands that are “loud” , I’m leaning towards quiet luxury here on out. I’m headed to Paris is a few weeks and will hit some of the stores you’ve recommended. Le Tanneuer for sure❤😊
I hope you will take a look at French brand, Just Campagne. High quality, made in France, and customisable (down to stitching and details). Very much “under the radar” but have been around since 1989.
I don’t think I will. A couple of months ago I went to what google told me was their physical store together with their opening times once there I found out they had closed down 5 years ago!
It should have gone out on Monday but none of the ‘thumbnail experts’ can create the design of thumbnail I would like… unless you know one - who is an absolute pro with photoshop - I’ll need to search and it will go out as soon as it’s created as the video has already been uploaded.
I believe what we are seeing is like the parting of the Red Sea . On one side we see the hugely hyped overpriced infamous big commercial brands , and one the other , more discerning brands who have their products on quality , and longevity , and the latter will WIN ! The big brands are now tarnished with shocking stories about poor quality , cheap labour exploitation , and high mark ups ! Infact their big flashy logos are becoming increasingly synonymous with BAD TASTE !!! I'm not saying these brands aren't capable of still producing some fine items , but it's the cheaper mass produced now heavily overpriced entry level items that are listing their appeal the most . I also think they have actually underestimated their current audiences ability to demand something that is actually of more investment and long term value , and probably the main reason Hermes is still holding their own in this ever so turbulent and increasingly unpredictable world FORMERLY known as luxury ! ❤❤❤
Well said! I also believe houses like LV and Chanel underestimate that we as consumers are not just numbers, we are humans with morals and feelings about things... when we determine that they are being too greedy - the exorbitant prices for average quality, bags made in sweatshop conditions - the story behind the brand no longer feels good. When I look at a Chanel bag, I don't think of the long-ago history, I think of what they're doing now. When I look at an LV bag, I think of the ridiculous wealth of Bernard Arnault. These factors, that are now a part of the long and varied history of the brands, are just a turn off ☠

Good to hear and thank you for watching my content.
Your research findings are spot on. Thank you 💜
Thank you for watching.
Wow the brown bag shown in your video was stunning. I can see how supple that leather was just by how easily it moved. Amazing quality.
It’s a beaut!

Thank you to you for all your help.
I thought of you after the results were announced and felt so bad. Onwards and upwards!
One or two Joseph Duclos bags are on my list. Service and quality 😊.
That's the spirit!

Please may I enquire when will you do the video you promised comparing a pre 2020 Moynat bag with a post 2020 Moynat bag? Thank you

@@SoAnesu Thanks. So looking forward to seeing it, regardless of the thumbnail design ❤

It’s sad what appeals the most is the cheaper stuff as it’s hyped up so much. Sad state of affairs.
@@SoAnesu I would like to think the tide is slowly turning ! 😉🙏♥️
It is. It’s ‘quiet luxury’s’ time and I’m excited.
