When I was a kid I would have an aunt say to me, "Wow, aren't you getting to be a big boy." It was meant to be flattering and a kindly gesture but it drove me crazy. I'm starting to get the same thing only in reverse... "Wow, look at you. You almost could pass for a man in his 50s." And if they are speaking a little louder than necessary, as though my hearing is going, that can really drive me nuts.

Getting old sucks. Ladies do yourself a favor and keep an eye on your hormones from age 40 and older. Then at age 50 hormones plummet the next 5 years. Do not be scared to ask for hormone replacement. I take Angeliq which looks like contraceptive pill but is not. It is for women aging too fast as their hormones have flat lined from menopause. Be proactive as the doctors will ignore you and only 25% of women have an easy transition. Also, low dose birth control pill with both estrogen and progesterone at 40 may help prevent some nasty issues that many doctors don't relate to your hormones going erratic. Good luck.

Today I was so saddened, he is hunched over, using a walking frame and suffering from COPD, his speech is strained. My poor best mate, later I cried. Kind Regards
I'm 75 ( the same age as some of these stars) & still in pretty good shape,i.e. 5'9" 183 lbs.! The key to staying younger looking. I believe, is to have good posture, keep your weight down, keep your hair & have good teeth! Also, walk at least 1 mile a day, even in cold weather & don't smoke! It's a lifetime project! Regards!
Yeah , I'm 63 and and balding some but only my mustache is grey about 153 lbs . People think I'm younger than I am though dont look like teenage me since I had very long hair but mu few friends and from that era look good which is surprisingly the partying we did then.

If I would have known when I was younger what I know now, I would have been nicer to the older people in my life. I find myself being thankful that I have lived as long as I have even though I dont look the same as in my youth, but thats the one thing that is EQUAL in life........WE ALL AGE and father time dont miss any of us even the rich and famous.
I enjoy these comparisons. They usually make me feel better about myself, confirming that "I'm not the only one" who has changed a lot through the years. Some of them are also a real hoot to see too, LOL!
It helps if a guy keeps his hair, hopefully without it going gray, and can keep off the pounds. When it comes to fairly comparing photographs of a person young, and then older, to have the "older" photograph to be something better than intentionally unflattering.
Your hair is going to turn gray, for some there's also hair loss, and no matter how much you keep yourself in shape eventually you'll still get an old man's body. I'm 4 years off from 50, but due to my 24 years in the military I still feel pretty youthful (and there's no male pattern baldness in my family). But that doesn't change the fact that I am now dealing with some physical issues that occur as you start to get older. I'm happy with me, I live a good life, and a lot of my friends didn't even make it to see 30.
We're all human at the end of the day regardless of what we've done or who we are, everyone ages, let them be who they want, live their lives how they want, their alive so total respect, your all legends ❤❤

@@secondchance6603 That's not true. Some women, i.e. Jennifer Connolly and Jennifer Jason Leigh are both now 50 and over, looking great. As to men, at the age of 40, Ignaz Semmelweis and Clive Owen looked pretty ancient. Many men don't age like "fine wine".

If I would have known when I was younger what I know now, I would have been nicer to the older people in my life. I find myself being thankful that I have lived as long as I have even though I dont look the same as in my youth, but thats the one thing that is EQUAL in life........WE ALL AGE and father time dont miss any of us even the rich and famous.
I enjoy these comparisons. They usually make me feel better about myself, confirming that "I'm not the only one" who has changed a lot through the years. Some of them are also a real hoot to see too, LOL!

It helps if a guy keeps his hair, hopefully without it going gray, and can keep off the pounds. When it comes to fairly comparing photographs of a person young, and then older, to have the "older" photograph to be something better than intentionally unflattering.
Your hair is going to turn gray, for some there's also hair loss, and no matter how much you keep yourself in shape eventually you'll still get an old man's body. I'm 4 years off from 50, but due to my 24 years in the military I still feel pretty youthful (and there's no male pattern baldness in my family). But that doesn't change the fact that I am now dealing with some physical issues that occur as you start to get older. I'm happy with me, I live a good life, and a lot of my friends didn't even make it to see 30.
We're all human at the end of the day regardless of what we've done or who we are, everyone ages, let them be who they want, live their lives how they want, their alive so total respect, your all legends ❤❤
