Stan Worth conducted the Name That Tune orchestra who played standards and show tunes from 1978 to 1981 as well, when the show incorporated a second band known as Dan Sawyer and the Sound System. I wouldn't be surprised if Stan wrote the theme from that era for NTT as well.
