McGie - Is that a #32 Grinder? I have the same one. The first time I used this grinder, I realized that it would grind on the fine-grind, small hole plate, on the first pass, with no problem. What I found out, it actually changed the flavor of the deermeat. It tastes like ground sirloin beef. When I make sausage, I buy beef tallow. I always lubricate by passing the tallow through first, and then the deer, alternating as I go. I don't have a mixer, I just hand mix the meat in a 50 lb. lug. In case you're shopping for a #32, I got mine from Vevor, the big Chinese manufacturer, for $289, where all the copycat American companies get theirs. I ordered from Amazon, free shipping. It has been great - I've ground five or six deer already, with absolutely no problems - I love it.
Ribeye for sausage is living like a king. You should try chicken fried filet mignon, like butter! Congratulations on the weight loss, keep up the good work Brother!
Micah, Great Video. Congratulations on your Carnivore 25# weight loss. Over the last 5 years on Keto/Carnivore low carb diet. Albeit with a bunch of back sliding, I have lost 145 pounds now at 143# my 'fighting weight ' of my youth. Dramatically improved my serious heart problem (genetic), off all insulin & Diabetes meds, Lipid labs phenomenal, HA1c 7.1. Doc says I have lost too much weight. Holiday back sliding ought to fix that. Started again a 5 day a week exercise program Doc supervised. Downside i couldn't take in my clothes so I had to buy new pants from 44 down to 32, though 2xl shirts are just baggy which in winter leaves room for layers. You have the perfect combination good farm work and self grown meats. Super help as well. Mouthwatering. 👍.Best
Good morning. So you’ll said which grind you liked, but which flavor comes through the best the deer, beef or pork? Or does it change the flavor profile completely? Sure would have liked to have had that bag of Ferdinand fat to render into tallow. Tallow is my new go to fat; especially for deep frying. 👍🏽

Great video. I have a question. I make venison hamburger and I grind it twice just like you do. It makes great patty’s but when you try to make spaghetti or chili it doesn’t separate good. Any idea what I’m doing wrong? Thanks
@@john-z6d8k You’re not doing anything wrong, that’s caused when the mixing process of grinding twice extracts the protein. The only option is to only grind once for spaghetti….. or you can add mustard or citric acid to the burger mixing it well, and it’ll denature the protein causing the burger to crumble.
This young new single preacher was telling about the time he was asked to a parishioner's home for Sunday Dinner? This was a big family, 10 kids. When they sat down to eat he counted only 10 pork chops on the plate. They asked him to pray. He said when I said Amen the forks were flying! It was totall chaos! But you know those 2 I had were pretty good!

The flavor was best in the course grind without cheese! I was surprised by that but I shouldn’t have been……. It only makes sense!🤪🤣

Yes it’s high temp cheese…… I don’t eat bread or pasta anymore so it’s just burger for me!😅😎
