Same, I used to hate it just from looking at pictures. After I saw it in person though on a 2019 TRD (now my 2019 TRD, it was too good a deal to pass up), that instantly changed. Especially with the front lip on the TRD it’s beautiful.
E8 gold rims are beautiful .for those who doesnt want to hide their brake caliper. Specially for the 17 BRZ performance package owners they have a BREMBO braking system
i got these for my subaru legacy in like a bronze color. guy at work gave them to me muchhhh better then stock wheels and tires, went from 225 17's to 255 18's. 4.4 pounds lighter per wheel and tire. don't notice much more acceleration or anything but wayyyy better grip for sure
I though I saw these in orange once? I too am having a difficult time of picking between blue or gloss black! I have the same color car as in video so that really helps. My race team colors are orange and blue. Thanks guys for this video by the way.
Wish you guys would showcase these on a red one! Can't decide between black white or blue! Also what's the difference between gloss black and glass black?
Xavier Villa i think the glass black works with all colors. My friend has an asphault grey (the dark grey) frs and they look amazing.we rolled them up to my blue frs, and im going to get them as well in thst color. They just work so well
Are your fenders rolled in this video? Just trying to gauge how mine would look with 17’s since my fender was rolled to fit 18’s by the previous owner.

Hi this is nice wheels, seeking your professional opinion. Rays 57CR 18 x 8.5jj offset +45 with 235/40/18 will this combination cause rubbing when steering turn maximum to the left and right? Can this wheels size eith offset +45 clear brembo with 355mm disc rotor? Your kind feedback is highly appreciated. Thank you
These 17x9 wheels are +38 off set... i know you stated that a +35 wouldnt have any issues. Would the +38 have issues with stock suspension? Another thing, how can i make these rims fit flush? TIA
+38 will work on stock suspension, It's our preferred offset and all the wheels in this video have a +38 offset. However if you're on stock suspension you'll need a 245 tire. 255 will rub on the stock strut
Ok I have the RS 1.0 yellow. Don't know what would be a good color to change to? And I want the widest tire/wheel I can put under my car. No I have not do any mod to it.
17x9 with a +35 to +38mm offset and 245/40/17 or a 18x9.5 +38 with 245/35/18 www.ft86speedfactory.com/wheels-40.html Also may want to check out our wheel fitment guide video - th-cam.com/video/k1ToBRfw7jw/w-d-xo.html
Depends on the offset. With a +35 offset you will be fine, but with a +40 you'll have issues. We'd recommend a 245/40/17 tire to be on the safe side without coilovers. But if you need 255s you could get away with a thin 5mm spacer. www.ft86speedfactory.com/h-r-trak-spacer-2013-ft86.html#.WcJyMciGMkk
That is correct, 245 if you're still on the factory struts. With coilovers you can fit 255, and with a bit a negative camber you can get 265s under there without rolling the fender. Here are all out 18x9.5 +38 wheels - www.ft86speedfactory.com/wheels-40/18-s/18-x-9-5.html?wheel_offset=914
I kinda like that front bumper now.
Rambo Kid same here. I didn’t like it at first . But I guess now I think it’s really nice.

Same
It looks good when its nice and low with aftermarket wheels
Lambo-ish lol
I'd still get a lip that hides or flattens out those fangs!

Ive also got a red frs and I cant decide at all.
Looks like the glass has metallic flake in it.
Xavier Villa I don't mean to be rude but you can always photoshop a wheel to your car
Sure does. :)

Will it fit on a stock suspension if i used 18x9.5 +38 with 245/40 tires? I watched in your other video that the max is 245/35 tires.
That is correct, 245 if you're still on the factory struts. With coilovers you can fit 255, and with a bit a negative camber you can get 265s under there without rolling the fender.
