I really like this Dracula. A fallen warrior who was a champion of Light, became the Prince of Darkness. And Castlevania alternate version. Robert Carlyle was perfect !

I have only played the Castlevania games on ps1 and Lords of Shadow 1 and I was able to finished it, When I saw the twist of the ending I was mindblown. I did not expect that truly. If I was film producer I would make this into movies, a trilogy would be perfect to explore mythos of Dracula and the Belmont Clan and then put some unexpected twist to the storyline.
Even though this may not be the best game bearing the name Castlevania, I still enjoyed it very much. I think I may even like it better than its predecessor. While the story telling may have been better in the first LoS game, the narrative for this game was still entertaining. That and I had more fun playing as a vampire than a human.

The title is accurate to the story told. The video was all about the Castlevania Belmont Family Tree: Lords of Shadow. The other versions were Castlevania Belmont Family Tree: Castlevania Legends and Castlevania Belmont Family Tree: Original Continuity. These family trees have different stories of telling "who's son is he"... And they are all NOT the same but accurate depending on what version are you looking at.
They messed up the dracula part. In the game, Gabriel is "the dragon" thus he is not "Dracula", but "Dracul". Because Dracul means "the Dragon", and Dracula means "son of dragon".

I respect the Lord of Shadows timeline as a Castlevania fan. However, I feel that much of what made Dracula horrific, dark, and sinister, was that his background was shrouded in mystery. I feel like this element was taken away once he was revealed to be a Belmont himself after all this time. Same with Alucard as Trevor Belmont. As a long time fan, this kinda ruined it for me. Needless to say, Lord of Shadows are both good games, respectfully.

I look at comments and i see the toxicity, and it's not just a problem within this one; RWBY also has a divided fandom, same for Spyro, and theif. I for one, greatly enjoy games, and tv shows; it isn't too much to ask to find some common ground is it? But then again it's konami. I highly doubt they'd find themselves in a better disposition than capcom with DMC. If i look into a game, I'd rather experience it for myself than merely blind myself to one way of thinking. That said it is understandable to have a different point of view; simply because everyone even developers make mistakes. Shit I got the chills! This game was going to be epic but unfortunately Konami rushed it until ruin it, still good though. I highly recommend it, great gameplay, amazing lore, decent story and the DLC is awesome but play it after you finish the main game.
In this its basically impossible to kill Dracula cause of how much blood he drank his power is so immense that either his body or soul can't be destroyed. Hurt but not destroyed there is always a way for him to come back to land of living.
He has, lords of shadow, a spiritual blessing to defeat Satan, Laura's blood, the Forgotten One's powers, and whatever else he may have gained. Gabriel Belmont is simply busted.

I feel like this story line is very confusing. Gabriel Belmont father of Trevor becomes Dracula then Trevor becomes Allucard. And Trevor/Allucard has Simon. In the Netflix show and other Castlevania games The Belmont are not vampires and they fight off Dracula with the help from Allucard. Is this the game that had a new storyline and timeline?

The reboot series was good until they came out with LoS2. It's a narrative mess and the modern world and stealth did not suit the game well. I would have wanted to see more Belmonts in the LoS timeline but after LoS2, No way. It's a shame since the narrative had potential.
I hated the Stealth yes but Los2 was over all a good game in my opinion. they can always reboot it again or go back in time to a game taking place between Los1 and Los2

Lords of Shadow series is deeper, tragic and darker than original Castlevania. It's for adults not for teenagers.

I feel like this story line is very confusing. Gabriel Belmont father of Trevor becomes Dracula then Trevor becomes Allucard. And Trevor/Allucard has Simon. In the Netflix show and other Castlevania games The Belmont are not vampires and they fight off Dracula with the help from Allucard. Is this the game that had a new storyline and timeline?
Not confusing at all if you play the games. This one had a different timeline and story, that's all. The netflix series has nothing to do with this one's story.

that is what a reboot means. it was good on its own but not as good as old Castlevania games sadly.
The show is epic as nostalgic as the old games are there storyline was kind of dumb honestly I love the games though the Netflix show and the Lords of Shadow story much better

The reboot series was good until they came out with LoS2. It's a narrative mess and the modern world and stealth did not suit the game well. I would have wanted to see more Belmonts in the LoS timeline but after LoS2, No way. It's a shame since the narrative had potential.
I hated the Stealth yes but Los2 was over all a good game in my opinion. they can always reboot it again or go back in time to a game taking place between Los1 and Los2

The netflix animated series is actually accurate to the original games. It's this Lords of Shadow 2 stuff that's nonsense saying Trevor and Alucard are the same person when they're not, they bloody fought alongside each other in Castlevania 3 as referenced in Symphony of the Night.
@@Jonatron101 This is a reboot/loose prequel set in medieval times.Gabriel Belmont was the progenitor of the Cronqvist and Belmont lines. The Simon, Trevor,Dracula,Sypha, and Alucard we know from the other games and Netflix series are named after these ones. This shit`s not hard to figure out!
@@Jonatron101Only the first two seasons of Netflix are loosely accurate. Lots of things are off because the writer never played the games. Everything after season two has nothing to do with the original story as it all splits off to tell a different one entirely.
