    my bunny turned 7 this year and i notice hes sleeping more and not doing as many binkies or zoomies as he used to. but hes still active and loves to follow people around and jump to places hes not supposed to. the dental problems are becoming an issue though so the vet visit every 6 months is essential.
    side note ive noticed there are multiple ad breaks in this video which would not be as big an issue if youtube wasnt playing multiple ads with each break. i think i had to watch 6 ads just to get through the entire video which is a bit excessive for the length and might put some people off.

      My bunny is two and doesn't do as many binkies. I called him Binky as he did so many but not now as much but he's unwell with seizures so could be that I guess

    This video brought me comfort ❤ my Holland Lop is 6 years old and I’m terrified of him getting old. I’m taking him to the vet tomorrow because I think he has an eye infection. I’m so afraid of the vet finding something wrong with him! Us bun moms love our babies so much❤ I hope I can have my bun for 13 years too!

    „Go to the vet every six months.“
    I guess we are there every 3 months just to check our 0-2 year old bunny’s. One time for there yearly checkup. Second for there vaccinate. Third for a end of the year checkup if something seems to be not ok with them.
    Depending on there condition definitely 3-4 times. Even if we just get a „They look great as ever .“ I will always spend the 20€ for the two extra checks.

    Thank you soo mucch, the litter box is a good idea cuz my senior rabbits are almost 9 year olds so they have difficult times to climb stairs or hop on the box, i'll think about how I can make them more comfortable. Tbh I should socialize with them more. Especially the soft floor thing, our stairs have no flooring so idk what to do so they wont fall down the stairs. Any ideas how to cover up the stairs so it wont be slippery?

    Thanks for this. My 11 year old black Havana rabbit really appreciates it. He’s my baby and I want to keep him healthy and happy as long as possible. He had an episode of GI stasis a little over a year ago which required emergency care. The only health concern I have observed as of lately is he frequently has eye discharge, I posit it’s because he lives free roam in my basement with me and no matter how hard I try, there’s often Timothy hay dust and other basement dirt. Is there anything I can do to minimize his discomfort? So far the only thing that Seems to help is a damp rag to clean then out. We don’t have the resources to see a veterinarian either at this time, sadly. Thank you very much. I love your bunny videos and they have really been helpful to us over the years.

    This video covered the topic so well. Although, my bunny is seven years old and doesn’t use many toys (including willow) there will be a few times she uses her toys but for the most part she ignores them. She does love balsa blocks tho haha!! Any recommendations for getting her to like toys more??

    Hey so I have 2 months old bunny and I am seeing alot of videos about getting your rabbit spayed and neutered at 3 months old or more but here in India there are not so many vets for rabbits that do that and some who will do are so expensive and I can't afford. So is my rabbit safe without being neutered or spayed? I am really concerned please answer...

    • @TheBunnyLady
      @TheBunnyLady  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For female rabbits it really is best if you can get them spayed. They have a high chance of getting uterine cancer, so it's best practice to get them fixed by the time they're two years old. The danger is less serious with male rabbits, but if possible it's still best to get them neutered.

    • @lovisha6197

    A well cared for rabbit can live around 10-12 years. Rabbits are mature (adult) after about 7 months. They are good for eating after about 3 months. Breeding rabbits should be butchered once they reach three years of age.

    • @kayroseox
      @kayroseox 3 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      Not to be rude, but why would anyone care to know about what age is appropriate to eat and/or butcher a rabbit on a rabbit care channel designed for people who have rabbits as PETS exclusively? Perhaps share this information on a cooking channel with people
      who actually eat rabbits...because no one on this side of TH-cam does.
