It depends if you want it bad enough. Collectors have a real passion of what they collect and will pay whatever. Sometimes I wonder if the collectors make the videos that say hey they are not worth that much when in fact they will pay a million bucks for it at the end of the day. 😊
I’ve come to really appreciate videos that start out telling me things that I don’t necessarily want to hear. Within the last year or so this type of honesty and straightforward advice has helped me select trustworthy channels that I consider reliable sources of information. Consider me subscribed ❤

Broken vhs tape itself is fixable with Scotch tape it starts playing again with out no problem's everything proven VCR players itself what stops playing not the vhs tape itself

Well, I actually bought The Disney Vhs Movies in the 80s for my 2daughters, paid original prices then. So I was told from an inlaw that my Alice in Wonderland Vhs Tape was worth $50, like 5yrs ago, but I didn't sell it. So Why are these people Allowed to falsely ask ridiculous prices for theirs? Especially if they're really not worth those Crazy amounts? I have several Black Diamond Disney Vhs Tapes & others. Will sell them for A reasonable amnt. Not trying to get rich quick like some of these others.
There is probably the odd person that might make an impulse purchase and not realize the true value of these. I’ve seen these black diamond VHS tapes at goodwill like stores for pretty much next to nothing. There are stores and local buy/sell listings that have bought into the myth that they are worth money but they never sell. Heck I even tried to list my tapes at $50 each on kijiji and not one inquiry. Unfortunately eBay is the go to place for finding out prices and this is an example where people are getting bad information on pricing.
thanks. i inherited a huge collection of them. was wondering if they were worth a lot. im just going to garage sale them or goodwill. not really worth the used up space or time to sell individually.
Some people are legitimately selling these VHS's for lots of money lol, look up mike the golden state picker, he sold a copy of raiders of the lost ark for $4,000 USD, and a star wars VHS for $2,000.
100%. I know they have pushed this myth that they are worth a lot but many others have gotten on the bandwagon too. That why you will find some used media stores trying to sell them for over $100. I remember telling an owner, they aren’t worth that kind of money. I could go to value village and get them for like $2 a pop.
Disney's Song of the South VHS tape sells well I've heard. The movie won't be released anymore, unless Disney changes its mind.
