The truth is, the level of fitness needed to retain this kind of intensity demanded at the highest level is not there for our older players. The solution for flick is to keep all players ridiculously fit and sell our older players and tired legs and barca will return to glory days.

Faye is a beast. So much strength, pace, composure. His passing is also very good. He really needs to be given proper game time now that Araujo is injured so that he can show his class. Absolutely NOT. Barca has been moving away from the classic kits of the 06/10/11/12 era. The pin stripe and blaugrana purple/burgundy shorts is iconic for Barcelona. These new dark blue/solid color uniforms are a sad bastardization of the classic strip. There's no identity, it's all monochromatic. Would be exciting to have Nico in this lineup. I really do think we have found our striker for the next 5-6 seasons in Pau - he can dribble, has good height, can score, can defend from the front as well. I’m very excited in Pau. Absolutely NOT. Barca has been moving away from the classic kits of the 06/10/11/12 era. The pin stripe and blaugrana purple/burgundy shorts is iconic for Barcelona. These new dark blue/solid color uniforms are a sad bastardization of the classic strip. There's no identity, it's all monochromatic. Nothing beats the blue and red stripes billowing as Ronaldinho/Messi/Iniesta carried the ball upfield. At the very least they need to maintain that

Barca had no discernible success in the 70s/80s, and certainly not to the level they did in the early-middle 2000s

Signing olmo is the alternative he will most likely demand less money and still offer just as much on the pitch. Even as a left winger Olmo will excel having balde overlap.

Would be exciting to have Nico in this lineup. I really do think we have found our striker for the next 5-6 seasons in Pau - he can dribble, has good height, can score, can defend from the front as well. I’m very excited in Pau. I think he is a bit like Suarez but is more comfortable with the ball at his feet and plays with the right attitude. I think Nico, Pau and Lamine would be a strong front 3 for years to come.

What I'm seeing nowadays in Barca's preseason matches is incredible, Nico is a priority for the team but Barca always comes first so as a fan I wish Laporta and Deco focus on what is important than wasting time waiting for Nico, thank to La Mesia for the new Gems who made a significant role in boosting our squad in this summer tour.

Alex Valle surprised me the most. He did not just give the assist for Victor's second goal, but he was also the one to pass to Lewandowski, who assisted Victor's first goal.
