    Buddy!!! Nice machine!
    Go get a vented catch can and route your crankcase breather into it!!!! Normally it is directed back into your throttle body and will mess up sensors and stick your throttle plate!!!! New throttle body is almost $900 and a PITA to replace (or $$$$$ if you have the shop do it!)
    DONT lift it!!! To much for the axles, unless you do portals (~$1000 a corner!!!)
    I don’t dig the glass because I use the hell out of my front trunk!!!
    Lots of guys complain that the stock tires wear really quick. I got some MaxAuto tires (same exact profile) and I’ve got around 500miles of street riding and they still look new!
    Get seat covers because the stock seat rip really fast!!!
    I LOVE my 4010 trans! I’m already in the market for another, this time new!

      Thanks for the advice! Where did you get your vented catch can? How quickly with the factory setup gum up? I know you said not to lift it but I will have to in my situation. My "driveway" (overgrown skidded trail) has several rocks that are unavoidable and I've already dented the front skidplate to the point it bent enough to hit the front driveshaft lol so it's got to get lifted up. Just a 2 inch lift with some 25" tires for now.

      Same for me about the front glass. I only use the mule to work my garden. The front storage allows me to carry tools on board to take care of maintenance stuff that pops up. My mule is 5 years old and original tires are good. I find they hold air real well. I have had to add air only once a year. It's the engine thing that pisses me off. Vehicle engines are supposed to idle. No excuses.

    I think I said before that I got some MaxAuto tires for mine and they are holding up really well to road use, but I watched another vid where the guy had Sedona Buzzsaws and they seemed to dig really nice!!! Reviews said they hold up to road use, so I might get a set!

    I wanted a Defender H8 when I was looking at buying in 2016 but they were on back order so I bought a 4010 SE 4X4 Mule instead and have not regretted it. All steel cargo box was one of the selling points on the Mule. Check oil dipstick daily/weekly. Moisture will accumulate on the dipstick because of routing and inadequate crankcase ventilation. If dipstick is not cleaned at least weekly, it will rust and can rust apart where it is riveted together. My second one broke last year. This i caused by the long horizontal routing of the tube across the engine bay. The drum brakes take a little while to break in but work fine once they do.

    • @ParkerMotorWorks
      @ParkerMotorWorks  ปีที่แล้ว

      Have you had any issues with the oil turning milky?

    • @Kookamungawerewolf
      @Kookamungawerewolf ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ParkerMotorWorks No, I just got lazy and did not pull the dipstick and clean it often enough. Excessive idling can attribute to this too. Again, the dipstick tube should have been designed differently. I have had a problem with the rubber stopper on the dipstick swelling up while checking or changing the oil.

      If you don't mind and have a second can you want my next video about this mule and let me know what you think. Love everything about the machine until the motor oil fill started looking like paste.

    I like it! For my orchards, its narrow width would be perfect.
    The status symbol around here is the big, tall, wide polaris ranger.. to drink beer and tresspass on the farms. Got to be at least 800+ CCs to putt around with the wife, dog and beer cooler too.
    They figured out this farmers black 08 5.4L F250 CAN and WILL keep up with them, even if it has to catch air and get sideways now and then to do it. Haha

      This is the first thing that I've bought that was small lol. But for out here I think it'll be perfect. Only downside is the 620cc. Wish I could get the bigger motor options in it

    I have a 2018 Mule 4010, it's been good up until the last year. I am taking to the shop, the emissions crap they have to put on them have ruined them unfortunately, in the process of removing all of it. I bypassed the crankcase breather that recycled the blowby into the throttle body. I am really disappointed now, less than 200 hours on it. I wish now I had opted for the diesel model a the time.

    • @ParkerMotorWorks
      @ParkerMotorWorks  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ya currently my motor has produced a ton of frothing like stuff only at 35 hours. Oil smells like gas and dealer had told me everything's fine and it's just condensation but others with the same machine has told me that's never happened to they're so I'm waiting to see how this plays out

      @iamthemoss the only reason I even considered the kawasaki was for the warrantee and the reliability but both are proving to be ineffective

  • @HughButler-lb6zs
    @HughButler-lb6zs ปีที่แล้ว

    I bought the 4010 mule because in 2018 it had the best utility features. But the engine is a piece of shit. It will not idle. If you can tolerate it stalling at idle, you will be ok. But Kawasaki, their dealers, and small rngine repair can't fix it. JUNK.

    • @ParkerMotorWorks
      @ParkerMotorWorks  ปีที่แล้ว

      Mine idles fine but then again it just hit 51 hours today. I'm gonna set the idle slightly higher for the winter and see what happens. I've got 7 years of warrantee on this bad bird so I really don't care what happens to the motor

    • @HughButler-lb6zs
      @HughButler-lb6zs ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ParkerMotorWorks you got to haul it in to get it fixed. That takes gas and time. I had my Mule about 8 or 9 months before it started. I hope you don't experience that problem, but my small engine repair dude says it is a common problem with the mule.

    • @ParkerMotorWorks
      @ParkerMotorWorks  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's true but that's why I don't plan on taking it back till the motor blows and that's only going to be so long where the motor is full of gas
