Good review. We bought a 2023 XS,FI,XC. We love it on our farm and added a bed liner, trailer hitch and roof. Work horse all day and plenty fast enough not to mention legendary reliability and the best warranty in the business. No one else has 25 years of producing a proven utility vehicle made in the USA
The capability of a mule is way more than this guy tested for. I have literally never gotten a mule stuck in the mud been working with them for over 10 years. But he is right if you like to go fast on trails. This isn't the buggy for you, but if you want to get there, pack out your gear and whatever else this will do it and do it well.

I had a 2019 just like that one, it would go through about anything and pull 1500 lbs , I have had three rangers and two mules , and mules are the only ones I miss
I have a mule 610 XC (Carb Version) and have had since 2012....been amazing. Decided to get a 4010 trans also in 2016 and nothing but problems with ECU, fuel injection, etc...been in shop more than I care to admit. Finally sold it with a 160 hours....yep. Still have the Mule 610 XC...and been fantastic. Only have done regular maintenance and battery change. Considering going back to it and hope the FI works well for a 2nd mule. Considered the MX but read similar issues as the 4010 Trans. I think kawasaki may be buying some models from other companies and putting their name on it. Still reading good stuff about the SX and FXT models only on forums! Read reviews on the rest of them is my recommendation before buying. The 610 I have (SX) has done everything I have needed. Feels underpowered because not speedy but always tows rough cut mower, pulls large dead trees, never gets stuck, goes up steep hills, etc. I have been surprised it hasn't overheated on me or stalled with what I have put it through. Highly recommend if 25 MPH works for you and you don't have really rocky terrain. Works fine on dirt roads / trails and goes places I will not drive my truck!.........Your review is spot on!
I have had two ranger 900 xp's , ranger 570 ,Cfmoto z950 and 19 mule just.like that black one, I sold them all and the mule is the only one I miss, and I might get another mule at some point, mule was built better that any of the ones I had
Hello, I’m just curious the location of the dump box release handle to lift it up seems like it is in a weird spot. Is it easy to use. Also, does it come with a trailer hitch already installed or how much are they.
I need to pull a 1000 lbs machine on the lawn to pick up acorns and leaves. This has a tighter turning radius than the Honda 520. Do you think this unit will tear up the lawn? I also have read that the CVT transmission isn't as good as Honda nor is Kawasaki is as reliable, but it also depends on who you talk to you. Thanks.
Search Mule Bercomac on TH-cam. I put chains and a snowblower on mine. Works amazing. Be sure to have a trickle charger on your battery though as it does discharge when not in use. My cottage is off grid so I use a solar one and hang it vertically to keep the snow off it
Yes! I purchased the KFI plow with the side wings (helps hold the snow in place) and it's actually phenomenal. Again, not very fast, but it will do the job superbly!
My buddy has this exact machine, he runs wi th us with our ranger mid-sized, and a canamechanical special razor. It's a tough little machine. It's slow but it goes everywhere our machines go. For the price point as these have creeped up drastically in the last few years, you can buy a cfmoto uforce600 for just a few dollars more. So pick your poison and enjoy.

The only thing missing is... the left hook! You didn't take it into the woods the way you took the Pioneer 520 a while back. Is it because the mule can't do that stuff, lack of time, or some other reason?
What if something goes wrong? I read reviews and watch videos all the time about Kawasaki not doing an adequate job with standing behind their products. I went round and round with them myself on two products. Issues were never resolved. 3 dealerships went out of business by me. Shady business practices. I refuse to buy any Kawasaki products myself for that very reason. Apparently, many other people are seeing issues about this. I realize every company has some type of quality control issue now and then, but how you handle those situations determines the reputation of your company, dealerships included. Average "Joe" can't afford most of their products without going into more debt, especially with financing. Q? want or need.
@@andrewsbbq lol you must not have had a new Honda lately. Their quality has gone way down. I had a 2020 pioneer and it was the biggest turd ever. Had multiple problems with it. Rear shocks were built wrong from the factory. So 2 weeks old and down for a month waiting on new shocks. Then at 6 months the fuel pump died. Plus it had a handful of recalls for steering and brakes. Sold it and bought a Kawasaki Teryx and haven't had 1 problem in 2.5 years and 1200 miles. Plus the fit and finish was way above Honda
@@bigseff23 interesting my neighbour has a 2021 Pioneer 520 and beats the shit out of it with no issues. He’s gotta have 2,000 hard kilometres on it. It works his farm and he takes it moose hunting, ice fishing, and pulls way more than it’s rated for This Mule is a bit too bare bones and underpowered to be worthwhile imo. It’s an offorad golf cart.
Well, an off road 4x4 golf cart with low-range and a dump bed for the price of a mid-range atv. A LOT of storage, VERY simple mechanicals. 2 seats vs one seat too. Any SXS you CAN afford is better than every SXS that you CAN'T. Within its capabilities it's great. It's the spiritual off road version of an original VW Beetle: low-power, Spartan simplicity, reliable, fixable. Cheap enough to be modable. There are much, MUCH more capable machines, no doubt about that. However, used appropriately it can be a good machine. Cheers.

Roll cage air intake on my 2024 does not have a bug screen covering the two holes. This mule is replacing a 2005 610 mule, that is still a workhorse.

Because tundra is better than ford Chevy or Ram and just simply more reliable even the speed O is more reliable than a IPAD app

Just logistics in this case. This was shot at a local trail close to where I live. Couldn't make it up north to Ironwood that week due to travel.
