Great review. I have a 2016 4010 purchased new and never regretted it. You should see all the stuff I have in the front storage bay: booster cables, 3 tow straps/slings, ratchet straps, tools etc. The drum brakes take a while to break in, when I first got mine I just about had to stand on the pedal to get it to stop quickly. The engine braking on the Mule is pretty good though. One of the things I really like is that it is so easy to get in and out of the Mule. I bought an aftermarket Mossy Oak seat cover as I have a dog that loves to ride with me. I have outfitted mine with a 3500# winch, an electric/hydraulic bed lift and a soft cab for winter. I bought a Ice Crusher heater for it last year but haven't got it installed yet. I have 42 acres and run all over it in all types of weather conditions with no problem. I would be nice if they went 35 mph but 20-25 is enough with 2-3 inches of suspension travel. The mules are built like a tank, you can fit a lot of stuff in that big cargo box and I drive mine practically every day. The only gripe I have about mine and you may have discovered this is the oil dipstick gets condensation on it and will rust. I have had to replace mine when it was about three years old. If they made the dipstick short and oriented vertically instead of that super long horizontal run I think that would have eliminated that problem. The rubber stopper portion of the dipstick will eventually come loose. I recommend measuring the distance between it and the loop and making a note of it in your owners manual. That is the only problem I have had with mine.
I bought one of these for an apartment complex, and about to order another 4 seater 4010. I love how simple and tough these are, and they look awesome. Very utilitarian. The dipstick used to be short on the older models, but people complained about having to lift the seat to access it. I recommend fogging oil to keep it from rusting.
I love the 36 month warranty. When I was in college back in the 70s, I worked as a Kawasaki motorcycle mechanic. Kawasaki's are built like tanks. They take a lickin and keep on tickin.... Great review. Thanks RT
This was a great review. I wanted to see the dash and workings. I actually pick mine up this week. Getting excited to put it to work. I owned a 610xc. Reliable but way under powered for what I needed. So. Looking forward to the extra 200+cc.
I’ve got a RZR900s and a 4010 trans Mule, I almost never drive the RZR anymore. Super awesome machine FOR WORK!!!! I can put a pallet in the bed and climb up the WV hills! Great vid btw!
Thanks for the review ! Weird thing is that I have mobility issues as well ! Been paralyzed from the waist down since birth. I've had a john deere gator TX, and a Honda pioneer 1000. One oddball question is , how is the seat height ? I tend to venture away from my vehicle at times , and since I can't walk , I'll be pulling myself up from the ground. I was going to buy another gator , but saw these. I used to work at a Kawi dealership , and only seen the Mules come in for service. Oil changes, and an air filter swap , and they went out the door . Great reliability and durability.
Seat is a bit high, especially for wheelchair users to transfer! The bench seat though is a bit easier for Brax to navigate! Thanks again, praying you keep on enjoying the outdoors!
Lord have mercy I stay clear of anything polaris😂 everytime you use those you gotta work on them. That Honda you mentioned tho. That’s a good one. I am looking at a 2023 mule 4010. That’s why I watched this
@@outdoorheretic8232 that’s what I’m talkin about . I need a good worker machine for our property. We are on a steep hillside and sorts need that machine. Was looking at the pioneer or this Kawasaki .
Hi. You doing great videos. But you have to stop watching in the viewfinder or screen on your camera, look in to lens insted. You can try to turn your screen around so you domt see it. Just a tips. Be well.
We have a Kawasaki mule 4010 black cushion cover that we can offer you for free in exchange for a product test video, are you interested? We also have children's armor sets that are great for outdoor sports

Great review !
Good review sir. I wheel in the desert near Yuma, Arizona. Does the Mule come with a full skid plate? Thanks.
are you talking about under the pull bar? It has one half way if so.
@@outdoorheretic8232 Thanks. Have a good day.
In the videos I have seen, the Honda 500 was LOUD. And the Mule seems quiet! Is it as quiet as it seems?
It can be loud. I actually thought it’s louder than the Honda, but that could just be me
Would you like to get the mule cushion covers at no charge? The mule seat cover, In exchange for an installation video, will you?
I will.
@@dogman8356 Thank you for your reply, how do I let you know more?
