Proportionality it would take some drastic changes to be reintroduced as a new model year. Safety requirements and EPA emission requirements have ruined it all. Lol guess they could add side air bags and the new 5.0 that replaced the 4.6. Miss these cars.

The Plymouth Fury was an iconic cop car from the 70s and 80s with its big 440 Magnum engine. Hard to beat although the Chevrolet Caprice was ubiquitous in the 80s and 90s.
Ask any cop which car they’d love to have back and every time it’s the iconic crown Victoria. My father ran a Plymouth fury cruiser and said they were junk
I've owned an 08' former police Crown Vic for a year now. Been a solid daily driver. I still mile whenever I floor it. One of the best cheap used cars in my opinion..
Glad to see these are still on the streets elsewhere, especially Cali. Back here in NYC, the only Vics I know of that are still around are with PSA 3 and HWY 2 as auxiliary units.
Had an 98 and a 03 P71. Loved those cars. Not really fast but the sound the 2V made was distinct. Miss those cars. Best car Ford ever made. Took one hell of a beating.
Ford should bring back the rear-drive V-8 powered Police Interceptor sedan, similar to the Crown Victoria. But they should make it a more modern design. The current Ford Taurus and Explorer Police Interceptors look okay, but it does not look better than the CVPI.
I miss when they used to be so common. Now, only a few remain and the Taurus and Explorers took over. But, they will NEVER have the legacy of a big V8 sedan that was used as a cop car (and taxi) from 1979-2011. They are tanks, same goes with the Grand Marquis and Town Car. Long live the Panther. I own a Crown Vic myself, an old one back from 1989. The 5.0L Windsor sound even more raw than the ones came later (and their police versions had a 5.8). The Crown Victoria DEFINES 🚔 and 🇺🇸!
5:53 i think that's the station where a youtube channel tom zebra and them did a 1st amendment Audit and flew a drone at and the lapd there were a bunch a clowns and the captain told them to treat the drone as of trespassing.
My city, Bangor Maine just retired it's last two 2011 cvpi they were used only as detective cars and both under 70k I can't understand why not keep them? They're both nice looking cars in great shape.
A freind of mine has recently brought a Dodge Charger direct from cumberland county police department with all the equipment still fitted here in the UK. The same importer has a Crown Vic for sale direct from Bristol County Police Department. I am so tempted to buy it.

They need to bring back the vics Who all agree ?
Dripping Water I agree the vics shouldn’t have been finished the old saying if it ain’t broke don’t fix it
Love these cars
Dripping Water yes
Agree
I also love the Crown Vic's roaring V8, music to my ears😸
Krentro Gaming yes
Such an iconic car, what a legend. It will be missed but never forgotten...
Something tells me it's going to come back at some point.
Agreed. It might not be the fastest but its very cheap, reliable, and easy to repair.

Yusuf elsayed and that good ass sound

The ONLY true police car. I've owned two and miss them very much. Damn fine vehicles.

I own a 1989 LX. Back when they were boxy, the had the 302/351 Windsor engine.
Ford Crown Victoria, what a true legend and iconic car i love it.

Love the Crown Vics, especially the ones with the police package.

True, but the LX is the best bet in my book.
I have a 2010 P7B
There was a time in America when almost every cop in the country drove a Crown and had a Colt on his hip.
Can we go back to that time?
I will miss this car and its classic design. Modern car designers don't have the guts to bring something out that has this old-timey classic look.
I bet if Ford just sold the same exact Crown Vic again without any changes a lot of people will buy it.
The King of Police Interceptors.
😍😍😍😍
YES
They're still in use where I live and I never get tired of seeing Vics work. I'll miss them when they're gone. Thanks for the video!
I am going to miss the crown vics. Ain't nothing like the roar of a v8 crown vic.
So glad I own one of these legends finally. Best cruiser ever manufactured and hands down one of the greatest fords

I love the scream of that engine.
It's insane that these cars are still being used 11 years after production. Long live the crown Vic
And now in our county we have 2015/16 explorers already going to auction. They are junk and that’s about the extent of service life for them
The vics may not be the fastest, but damn they sound good, and can take a beating and still keep going.
Nine years after the last one rolled off the assembly line in Canada they are still in use today in Florida.
No, they are not fast at first, but with the right upgrades, they WILL be.
I love the all blue lighting on CVPIs! It looks awesome. Great Video!!
Especially at night!
I've owned an 08' former police Crown Vic for a year now. Been a solid daily driver. I still mile whenever I floor it. One of the best cheap used cars in my opinion..
The Crown Vics can speed up like your normal sedan, but can take a beating like an armored car.
Proudly made in Canada until 2011.
Indeed, they are tough. With the right upgrades, they can be a muscle car.
LONG LIVE THE CROWN VIC! ^^
fantastic video! I really love the LAPD and BPD CVPIs
Me too!
Barnstable has good looking cop cars
I miss the old days.
The police station near my town still has crown vics
5:38 best Siren with the V8 Roar
Love LAPD, Love Crown Victoria, and Love Police
Good catch with the bust. That was awesome seeing police in action
2:38 A Mercury Grand Marquis too! Edit: Also a Lincoln Towncar 5:38
Carlos the Nazi-> All of the police cars are Crown Vics
And those two related cars are the same exact thing internally, just with a different badge.

The great Crown Vic.
Truly an awesome video. Thanks for putting this tribute together.
Thanks for watching!
Lol most of it was Massachusetts because the police cars here are awesome
Bōshìdùn Rén Yeah, I have family in that area, and I always see those awesome blue lights whenever I’m up there.
Barnstable Massachusetts has all blue lights on their cop cars!
Glad to see these are still on the streets elsewhere, especially Cali. Back here in NYC, the only Vics I know of that are still around are with PSA 3 and HWY 2 as auxiliary units.
Seems like every crown Vic I’ve seen on here has its own light setup. Basically none of these cars have the same police lights
my favourite police car!
The Best Police Car! Love this car!

Slow and fat but durable and practical, RIP Crown Vics
They're not slow once you give them the right performance parts.

Great Tribute for Crown Victoria Police Interceptor 👏👏👏( SORRY THERE IS NO SALYUT EMOJI SO I GIVE UP CLAP AS MY TRIBUTE SALYUT) 👏👏👏
Crown victoria still the best starting 2010's police car but for me the best 2000's police car is the 2006-2010 dodge charger
Nobody drives the sixth gen Chargers now... lots of Vics still getting beat around. Those Chargers spent more time in the shop than on the road.
The fact that all of the police cars are AT LEAST 6 years old is fascinating :D
I Love It A Lot
This is Awesome

Which siren is it at the boston police crown vic???👁👁
2:13 that’s my hometown but sadly we don’t have any cvpi’s in the fleet anymore
2011 was the last year they made those dogs. The Plymouth Fury with the 440 was my favorite
Code3Paris yeah that things a beast. i either want a cvpi or an F150
I would go for a Toyota Land Cruiser or a Lexus.
5:55 hi there mister wavey :)
Love my interceptor crown Vic
ford explorers: no you cant live crown vic your too old
ford crown vic: haha my engine go brrrrrrr
Did they stop using crown vics?
nope . there are still departments in the US that keep their old Vics in their fleets like NYPD LAPD LASD NYST & CHP just to name a few
wow os cool
Wow I love this car !!! What year is the best ?
JamarPlayz Games E...excuse me
JamarPlayz Games They stopped manufacturing the Crown Vic in 2011
2010
If you ask me, I'd say the 1988-1991.
Great video , just got a 2011 Crown Victoria police interceptor I gess the emergency lights are different for each dept or application.
Each US state has different laws.
These do look regal and tough for a modern car bit I miss the quad headlights on police cruisers in the 1980s.
The older LTD ones? Yeah, those Crown Vics are cool. I have one of those, though.
0:22 That dog
In my city the police department still uses them
Still to serve and protect 👍👍
2:06 does anybody know what siren that is?
Sounds like a PA300 Fed Sig
Most of these videos I saw they have hubcaps. Some police departments crowns vics have the black Steelies

Any idea why CA agencies use blue/Amber in the rear? I’ve seen so many like that and never understood why?
Preference only as far as I know. A single forward facing steady burn red light is all a police car needs by law in California.
CA Law says that it needs One Steady Burn Red in the front and a Flashing Amber in the rear
