This trash gets disconnected when out of range and will not reconnect, so one you lose your keys or anything else outside the range of your phone consider it gone! 👍🏻 Good for indoor crap only, AirTags are better for tracking
It has some usage. When you leave your mobile in a cab or a restaurant, or when someone steals your mobile, you will immediately come to know, you are getting away from the device.
I'm a forgetful person. I'm going to put this on my car key, wallet and several other things. But how many can you pair to a phone? Better yet if it can record last location before disconnected as sometimes i forgetfully leaves my things at office or even restaurant.
I have my phone in plastic waterproof box so I can attach it to a key ring but it only goes as far as my little house so if I left it at the store forget it unless I am within 15 feet of it. But still good for like when at home or in care and it slips under the seat or under a pillow ... not worthless..... for me I lose everything so it is a help.

The price was right so if it's only for local use I'll use it instead of an airtag everyone is talking about. I assume since it runs on Bluetooth the range is 10 meters or so. Even at that if you loose an item far away you could at least go back to the area and hopefully start looking there first. Glass is always half full.
itag device beeping just press the itag device button to stop beeping . Not long press to switch off okey. when you want to find your key. open the app search and found that is.
those are useless.. after a short while they lock up and you need to pull the battery to reset. Worse, is that if the cell phone is shut down and later turned on, the app does not automatically connect to the keyfinder. I have tried various models and all those cheap ones from China are garbage

I don't see the purpose of this device. Tracking works only in bluetooth range.

How if your phone lost and you only carry the anti lost ?
It's bidirectional so that works
If you hold it down then it still plays even with app closed
If you press down on the button on the locater, it will signal the phone and also you can choose what signal I chose the loudest and longest one.

What happens when you suddenly closed the app
That beeping sound will tell any car thief where the tracker is located. Useless for vehicles then.
I'm using My iTags app which allows to disable the beep when you leave your car
When im away from the ITag, it keeps beeping loud every 5 minutes.
How to turn off?

Garbage. Says good for vehicles. Truth is you have to be pretty close before it beeps. Definitely is not a vehicle tracking device
