    this is great but for something like this i feel like the object in the distance would look better if it moved slower to really give that sense that it's massive. Great work

    Wow! Looks terrific! Great job! Did you do the bg in grease pencil, too?

    • @yezzzsir
      @yezzzsir  2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Thank you for the feedback. To answer your question. No, the BG I painted in Sai & the animated object I built in Blender, painted some layers for it in Sai then used a node set up in Blender to make it mesh with the rest of the image.

      Thank you for your comment. I did a breakdown video after this to try to help those like yourself who were also curious, check it out if you have the time hopefully it will answer some of your questions about how I approached this project. As for how long I've been learning, I've been playing on and off with Blender since version 2.7 But I've really got into Grease pencil for about a year or 2 now and really enjoying it.

    How did you make that sphere thing seems so far away?

    • @yezzzsir
      @yezzzsir  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I Painted the concept first to make sure it looked right, then imported the painted layers & animation sequence for the artifact into blender using the import image as plane add on. Took me a while to figure out a node set up (& there's probably a better way to do it) but I basically used the paint over as a mask for the animation to make it look that far back. Hope this helps.
