Naeve is a hero and you can have two other heroes from any order warbands. So yes you can sub out the elf for an Annilhator Prime. Oh cool, you've obviously thought this through as when I built this list with warcrier.net it was exactly 1k! Very nice 😁
@@optimalgamestate Thanks for the answer, I wasn't sure if it was allowed to have an ally in such an unique warband. I am still not sure, if the Annihilator prime is a good choice, but he fits perfectls by the points :)
@@optimalgamestate Thanks, but with the points update that solution is of the table. Maybe I'll go with an Knight Vexillor with Banner of Apotheosis... and a 10 Point +1 Damage on crits for Naeve.
Naeve is the one that will have most impact on the meta-game. The full set of Blacktalons I suspect are too small a team to win many of the current tournament formats where numbers are king. Looking at Naeve, she's basically a Fomoroid Crusher, a super popular ally for Chaos. She costs 25 points more, gets +2 move, -1 toughness, -5 wounds, and a ranged attack that she'll probably never use. Based on that comparison, I think she'll be popular like the Crusher but won't be OP.
With the two boys able to give her an extra action, she certainly will be the lynchpin of the team. With 6 dice we can expect her to regularly crit. Even if it just brings her 10 to 11 average damage, that seems like a good call.
A couple of these guys could be really problematic if the warband wasn't so tied up tight, Roestus especially is just blatantly undercosted, having a fantastic attack profile while also being incredibly tough. But it might not matter in the big picture since the constraints on how you use them is so tight. I guess we'll see what Naeve can do as an ally... Pretty interesting release
